Spartan Collection is so weird because you get absolute bangers like Halo 5 Arbiter and Halo 4 Master Chief, and then you get stuff like Carter and Halo 2 Chief.

While it may be different for everyone, the Targets in my area have stocked the one with the new knees. It's hard to tell in package, but the back part of the kneepad is cut more triangular and they elongated the middle parts of the leg to fit the new cut. It's a shame Gamestop is still selling the old ones as the reissue is probably Jazware's best designed knee in their Halo line.

I was one who commented regarding it having different knees. I purchased one expecting it to be then same as the two pack but was in disbelief when I saw the knees and bought another (both have new knees). My halo 2 master chief also has regular sized hands so I have no idea what their distribution practices are or if the new variations are just limited supply. Sorry this happened to you, I don’t know why it happened to you and apologize for any confusion that may have attributed from my comment on your previous video!

@@alesito76 yeah the original release had tiny hands that were extremely thin and about half the size of the other Spartan figures. I have the original release h2 chief still in box but it’s in storage so I can’t show a size comparison

That's a real bummer because I saw a picture floating around of the new knees, but I also went the single pack route from GameStop, and received what you got. Now I'm confused too! But skimming through the comments here, I'm getting the impression that maybe Target is stocking the updated version, rather than GameStop? I'll keep trying, but in the meantime, I hope you find it sooner and are able to review it.

I never was into Halo that much but i always loved the design, i never owned a Xbox, but i have fond memories of my cousins and friend's playing it and i remember going to sleep overs while eating pizza and junk food while playing multiplayer lol. I miss those days

Has Jazware stopped sending these to Wal-Mart? None of the local stores near me have any series 4, 5, or 6. Sadly I dont live anywhere near a Target. On another note, one of my biggest complaints is how they use the pins for the knees. I'm not a fan of pins in any part of a figure, but the plastic they use to so soft that they just wobble and flex. I think if they just made these with harder plastic, not only would they look better, but post better too.

the weird thing is that it seems Jazwares just re escaled the almos exact designs (including articulation) from "spartan collection" figures for the "world of halo" figures, but somehow... "world of halo" figures have the knee joints designed waaaaaaay differently, as they are supposed to be designed, well... almost, but definitely way beter knee joints in the "world of halo" line, wich is kind of weird.

I just bought it. Like 2 hours ago. The quality it's horrible, but at least is the version with the good knees. And it was just like 17 bucks. I don't regret the purchase, but is the last time that Jazwares disappoint me. Sorry if my english is not good. Greetings from Mexico.

I'm not sure if it happened here, but I got one of these from target, but before I checked out I checked the tape and noticed it had been opened and hastily re-taped; so I assume someone bought it, took it home, swapped the chief with the old one, and returned it😡

@@Megatron118x yeah it’s easy to identify, the knee pads have the same form, it’s the piece that is attached to the knee pad the one that is more triangular, look at minute 3:47, the knees, looking from the side look like a square, the new ones have like a triangular cut that attaches the knee to the thighs and the calves, hope I explained it well

CE for sure. So I did kind of repaint on this more of a weathering. Added dry brushing, painted in some of the details and panel lined and while it still does look like garbage I will say it doesn’t look like hot garbage. Also my knee are the exact same.

I was blown away by Anniversary when it first came out in 2011. But other than some of the environments in certain levels, the over stylized art style is is ugly and doesn't even match the models most of the time. Classic CE is the way to go. And Halo 2 anniversary is amazing! Also, I got the two pack only because it was on clearance for like, $19. Definitely worth it for that price, but would have felt ripped off if I bought it full price.

Yeah, you probably got scammed my guy, he doesn’t have better knees, I saw another video with the same figure and even it had the god awful knees, the only CE Chief from Jazwares I know that has the best knees is the world of Halo CE Chief that’s comes in a 4pk with the infinite chief and two grunts, I have him so that’s how I know it has better knees on the world of Halo figure, the Spartan collection figure is just god awful, if there’s even one Master Chief action figure with great knees, it’s gotta be the 1000Toys Chief 👌🏻😎

CE:A has to be one of the worst game remasters ever. The original art style & atmosphere was butchered, especially on flood levels. The new models don't match up with the original animations, so you'll see things like the sniper rifle clipping through chiefs hand during reloads. They reanimated the cutscenes, but they look goofy as hell. The elites have no necks, and the hunters look squished. Awful.
