I’ve never had a taste for ‘big band’ music. But I wanted to hear some versions of Tickle Toe. I’m trying to get a (Bb Fake Book) version in the key of Eb under my 73 year old fingers on my clarinet. I’m very much an amateur player. In fact it’s even more sobering than that. I’m an old amateur player. This version blew me away. Loved it. Great soloists, great arrangement. I suppose there are big bands and then there are big bands?
