Most of them had performed together in different groups or led their own bands for quite awhile - the current line-up was originally called "Senri's Seven" for a one time event - kzbin.info/www/bejne/naOaY5qCidOHkLc We're all glad they stayed together, and "Jazz Avengers" is a better name, IMO. All the sax players are music school grads - Senri studied privately - not sure about June, Marie, and Chizuru…

My first time hearing/watching Senri Kawaguchi I just broke down crying! I had no idea how accomplished a drummer she is. I could feel evrything she did. And I felt so much pride in my heart for her. That was maybe 4 yrs ago... maybe 5.

What a beautiful guitar solo!! Glad Chizuru didn't cover it up with lots of effects. Likewise for Marie's piano playing - really beautiful ideas. All of the members of JA are so badass!! I hope we get to see the complete versions of some of the tunes highlighted in this clip - they sound great!!

I really wanted to see them live, so I drove 3 hours to the album release tour hall, I was able to watch from the second row. The performance was amazing and friendly beyond expectations. Unfortunately fancams were not allowed. I think they should go on overseas tours like BAND-MAID. And I definitely want to see that fancam.

先週宇都宮市文化会館小ホールで観ました 満員で、ホール関係者が「月曜なのになぜ？」と驚いて、アンケート回収していました ステージはもちろんノリノリで、フロント４名とギターの千鶴さんは、ワイヤレスでの客席巡回もありました 五所川原のアーカイブ何回も観て余韻に浸っていましたが、日本もルール(１分以内とか)を決めてファンカムを解禁してくれれば、凄さが広がるのではないかな？と思います
