As a straight ass 68 year old black man . I'll always 💘 my man Wilton. Whenever the crusaders played in Detroit I had to go. If they played two shows I'll be there for both. Rest on Wilton, Joe and Wayne.

Thanks for sharing. There’s not a lot of high fidelity audio visual stuff of these guys. I was a massive fan and watching this is making me quite emotional . I met my first true love at a show they were playing at in California. Unfortunately she’s gone now but we’ll meet again.

Great sax sound, excellent 👍 execution, stellar in-sync altissimoes and magnificent storytelling by Wilton Felder during his coherently progressive improvisation. WF:RIP!

Wilton played the hell out of that sax.

Wow! It's so good to see the Crusaders re_banded. Even if it was only for the ten years between 1995 and the time that Joe, Wayne and Wilton passed away, that was priceless!

Seen them every time they played in Detroit. Had front row seats when they played the Detroit jazzfest years ago. Play I recorded it on my cam corder.

Seen the crusaders about 50 times. When they came to Detroit. Hopefully they won't be playing this for years to come. Stay blessed and alive.

Great tune. Man, that bass line is as hard as penitentiary steel. In addition to playing sax, Wilton Felder also was a master bass player so more than likely, it was he would laid down the original bass line. Kudos!

If iam not mistaken that's the great Nate Phillips on bass.

In fact, Wilton penned this tune. It first appeared on his 1980 solo project, of the same name
