Bought all of your books, practicing with them each day for a year. After so much time being overwhelmed with jazz trying to understand it, your books and guidance worked perfectly, getting me to a whole new level. Highly recommend anyone to buy his products, great musician and an awesome instructor ❤

Love the way you think things through to get us all thinking deeper. Your "massage' is always clear, well communicated, and thought provoking. Thanks.

So interesting and original, this is one of the most original and important subjects, and yet very neglected by other teachers!

Hi Jeremy. I am a bassist who was lucky to have learned from you while part of ( the wonderful ) Danny Ziemann’s program. I find your improv teachings to be without equal - and I’ve studied a lot… Please consider a module expanding the concept of tension/release, stable/unstable beyond modal, to standard and other progressions considering simultaneous layers of melody, harmony and rhythmic tension/release.. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience!

Nice to hear from you! I'm glad you're interested in tension and release. I am too - still figuring it out!

This is a brilliant video. Your depth of perception and language sound is a "rare and a copasetic gift." (Quoting Tom Waits, can't recall the tune.)

Thanks much, Jacob! Lol, it's probably not the most attractive, click-baity title, but sometimes you've just gotta let your freak flag fly...

Great video! An old friend of mine was an aromatherapist and masseuse. Funnily enough, she had no sense of smell :)

hmm ... very interesting ... new direction (for me), very well explained ... I mean, who ever talks about 'shape' to us and demonstrates how shape can be effective or not, from which direction to approach - only Jeremy Siskind! THANKS

Shape is soooo important! It really can't be overstated. It's so interesting how much it makes a phrase sound like a phrase!

It would be really great if the download of Jeremy's notes could be included. Writing down from the screen reminds of my very old days at the university with the teacher writing on a blackboard with chalk. Perhaps the notes from Jeremy's videos on KZbin could be released as paid download from the Website. I would also like to ask if these KZbin videos could be available on Jeremy’s Web site in the form of paid subscription. I would rather support Jeremy than pay for KZbin subscription. How about a jazz course, we could subscribe to? 😊
