Hello JazzMentl-ists. While this may feel too advanced for some of you, it's still good for you to "hear" it and listen to the nuances of inner voices. Just listening makes you a better player...it gets into your DNA so to speak. If you want to take a deep dive into My Foolish Heart, and you missed the previous lessons, here are the links: PART 1 kzbin.info/www/bejne/sH-nl5SNg7Bqias PART 2 kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4XMfGilf5Kgf6s PART 3 kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYSvn56jj7uojsk Thanks for tuning in! I'm thinking of doing lesson on Chick Corea - maybe "Spain". Love that tune. Or maybe develop more exercises for you all. You seem to like the exercises 🙂. Let me know what you want. I'm all ears! I appreciate your feedback as always. - Paul

While the lesson is a bit advanced for me the arrangement was awesome. Thank you for sharing it.

Thanks Scott. What level are you at? I do make special tutorials for beginner, intermediate and advanced. Maybe check out the different playlists for something that resonates for where you are at?

Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge! I have learned so much practicing with the sheet music with the backing track. May I suggest a lesson on "Fly me to the Moon" in the style of Beegie Adair in the near future?

Thanks John for reaching out. It's a ton of work to make these lessons, so I'm smiling ear to ear when I hear people actually using it and putting it into practice. I like your "Fly me to the Moon" idea...let me think about this a bit and get back to you.

The 5th measure and of 3 is F natural. Same thing on the repeat - measure 21.

👍🏻 for Spain.

I shall do Spain...soon. I used to play this tune at most of my concerts. People loved it...it was little flashy and they loved melody. I just watched Chick Corea on KZbin the other day, and he really played up to his audience. Had them 100% engaged in the tune. He did a sort of Call and Answer with the audience. He's a legend. It'll be fun to do a deep dive for the JazzMentl channel.
