Jazz Jackrabbit 2 - Tubelectric (Allan Zax Remix)

This is a recreation of the Tubelectric (remix) theme from the game Jazz Jackrabbit 2 released by Epic Games on May 7, 1998.
The original score was written by Robert A. Allen for the first Jazz Jackrabbit and then remixed by Alexander Brandon for the second game and was very influential on my early music ideas.
Being a huge fan of the Jazz Jackrabbit 2 game I often listened the incredible OST.
I now have the chance to give this favorite melody of mine a different spin in the Synthwave genre.

Tubeletric never be forgotten as i often see many people remix this ost - its little sad that soundtrack from original cooked ( custom) levels, unused ost like Atlantis and Dreamland, and of course the hardest level for many kids in gold age of playing this game Queen of Board hardly ever get any remix and they didint get so much love. I remember when i started listen to these soundtrack i really was suprised how good they are whenever they arent a main campaning soundtrack. Still i enjoyed your work towards JJ2 because these remixes are amazing

Absolutely brilliant. When I learned you were doing a remix of Tubelectric, I must admit that I was a bit worried if it'd live up to the original. I also knew that I had set extremely high expectations, since it's my favourite JJ2 song. During my first listen, I was a little uncertain if I liked it. However, after every listen, it grew on me more and more, and frankly, it is a fantastic remix, and absolutely lives up to the original. I have noticed something with your Jazz Jackrabbit remixes that I adore, which is that they get better with every repeated listen. There's a lot of nuances in your style that makes your music very soothing and full of personality, without being obstructively bombastic. I think that is a remarkable trait in a musician. What I really love about your remixes is how varied they are. There are so many interesting movements in this. And then there's the _Axel F_ reference in here. The _Popcorn_ reference in one of the others. I have no idea what the samples are you put into your remix of _Ending_ but they are _BRILLIANT_. These are not lame 7-minute long loops of the same over and over, but a full journey from the first second to the last. And all the while you keep getting these hooks back to the original material while innovating and really making it your own. So, so good. What a joy to listen to!

I try to make them sound like proper full length tracks which can be enjoyed by fans and non-fans of the game alike while simultaneously keeping as much as possible from the original and improving it in key aspects where appropriate.

He's BACK!!!! And you've got another kick ass remix of one my favorite JJ 1/2 tracks!!! Edit: Been listening to it on continuous repeat on your channel for a couple of hours now! Wow, you've made something awesome here. In fact, if i carefully listen, most of the song can be counted as your own creativity. It's almost a whole new song, with the original forming parts of the "chorus" for lack of a better word. The electronic keyboard sounds are all amaze!!
