Dee Dee Bridgewater! What else can I say. How fabulous to get pointers from a Master Jazz Vocalist like her! Is it possible for these very young singers to appreciate this moment? Wow! What an opportunity!

Funnily enough when u watch Dee Dee B perform she holds the mic high!! The singers were all fabulous. I’d pay to go hear any of them. And Dee Dee B is marvellous.

Sorry Dee Dee but the rules you cite about the mic and about not changing the song on first go round aren’t rules. They are just your rules.

Sing how you want to sing even as far as how you pronounce certain words or phrasing its individuallyity its a certain individuals personality how they speak were all different, in my opinion ofcourse also surely holding the mic were tou feel comfortable is best obviously a singer isnt going to hold it like an emcee 😂 lol just be comfortable also as far as not listening to other singers I don't agree with that theres nothing wrong with being influenced by someone thats like telling an instrumentalist to only listen to accapellas 😂

I wish the first singer had a better accompanist, was not a good match
@Acorparation9 ай бұрын
yea she's obviously going for a less busy ballad vibe and the comping is just hammering away lol

The umpteenth singer who says the diaphragm is in the stomach/belly area. ARGH!
