I think a lot of the learning takes place in a dance course. The footwork is complicated and certainly requires instruction and practice. However, the course would be fun, and you would meet like-minded people. Then when you were ready to hit the club, you vould go with your new buddies!

It seems very popular, another dance to try is salsa dancing and there are plenty of dance clubs. Take a few lessons and get out there

Yes as ull no doubt know , it all originated from the 1920s and 1940s... They've always been there and done that in one way or another.. I remember reading in the 80s when I was a breakdancer how the soul and jazz movements influenced modern hip hop and breakdance..
