At this video, he was 22 and had 17 years of classical vocal training under his belt. He is currently 28 and is so superior now to this performance. You may find him singing Opera, Michael Jackson, Celine Dion his own compositions, or more recently compositions written for him by the great composer, Maestro Igor Krutoy. Dimash is from Kazakhstan and grew up speaking both languages. He is currently completing his Doctoral Thesis. Well-read and brilliant. He is more handsome the older he gets. He is tall at 6'3", very athletic, very close to his family. Hie is Muslim and is of high moral character. Both of his parents are well known singers in Kazakhstan and Dimash has trained vocally, under the same gentleman his mother trained under.

His voice has its own unique style with fullness/richness of tone with access to all areas of the range, able to navigate easily between chest, middle and head register and Vocal control through out the range, no flip flopping about or straining he is an original and a fantastic singer.
