@@jorieru8556The violinist is Retaw Boyce, you can google it. He passed away because of Fatal Car Crash, he was 31 years old at the time of his death. Its very sad and tragic. He will always have special place inside our hearts.

Your enthusiasm makes it like a lesson... delivery so expressive, almost anyone would want to remember, to try to learn, even one single phrase of your style, to swing like you, hep cat ... even me. I was watching the TV Series the Originals which is set in New Orleans and the music there is great. I saw some scenes where there are violinists playing jazz and I thought the the music is so rich and relaxing... I searched in KZbin and found this. Great, now I am a fan of violin jazz.

People have been telling me jazz on a violin sounds good, so now I'm here. The smoothness of the strings makes it sound good for this piece, but other instruments still dominate jazz, as there are styles that won't sound good on the violin
