Also depending on the resin you are mixing it is also better to mix in a well-ventialted area or at least wear a mask. Some of the fumes from the different chemicals can be harmful.

Just as a person who does resin as a hobby, I’m sure this video has gotten a lot of people interested in resin but know that it is a chemical that has a lot of fumes. I’m not sure jazza’s studio is ventilated enough to work with resin in there. A preferred area would be a open garage or porch and maybe wearing a respirator. This may seem overkill but with prolonged exposure, resin can really mess with your lungs. I was hoping he would point out safety as he is an influencer who others will copy, saying he’s just wearing gloves, that is enough.

I make acrylic fluid art and it is so fun. I also play with resin. My suggestion is to NOT use as much resin 🤣 You don’t want to waste all that run off. Resin is too expensive to try to use it as you would acrylic pouring. I would ❤️❤️ to see you do more resin!! That would make an interesting clock. OR you could do a couple more in different sizes and then stick them together for a sculpture 😬

Planet would be a gorgeous end table or an amazing ‘stained glass’ centerpiece or sun catcher. Edge it in silver or gold-actual gilding or paint, either would be beautiful. Tip on UV/glow in resin: it takes a fair bit to get a good glow, and the less colorant other than glow stuff, the better the glow. In general, it takes very little ink to get good color. You’ll be surprised at how few drops 💧 you need to get rich colors.

Really liked this video. Ive dabbled in resin pours myself. It would be pretty cool to see another one of these and you really seem to enjoy it. When I do my pours I use a form with sides but letting it run I noticed causes a different effect. When you have sides and if you use alcohol inks the colors blob and billow and will often sink. I think because you did such a thin layer and let it run off the edge it came out pretty different. You could use it as a table top for side table. Or turn it into a tray or even a wall lamp for the kids room.

A few years ago did something similar to the blue, white and orange one, where he did dots and tilted the canvas, but I didn’t use acrylic/resin I used metallic paint, and elmers glue (and a little water if it needed to be thinner), mixed that together, and did the piles of dots and tilted as he did It was a very easy artwork to do, and would be easy for kids too But you need elmers glue, I tried with ordinary PVA and it didn’t work as well I used 4 colours, black, white, and then metallic gold and metallic silver And it turned out like Jazza’s one after his first layer (I only did the one layer so) Would recommend!

How did Jazza take a class on pouring resin/acrylic, without hearing anything about leveling the thing? Like, I sat the whole time and was like "Half of that shit is gonna run off to the side, because it's clearly crooked"... and I mean, it didn't seem to annoy him, but it meant that he had a lot less control than he would have had, if he had leveled the surface first. Also I cringed a bit when he started out without gloves on. Take care of your health Jazza! At least read if the chemicals are bad for you, before you start handling them without gloves or a mask! I did really like the video though - would just wish he did a little more research sometimes before just starting.
