Ich hatte ihn vor über 10 Jahren auf dem ElbJazz-Festival gesehen. Es war kalt und es hat Bindfäden geregnet. Wir haben dann in der Fischauktionshalle Schutz gesucht. Und dann übergaben sich er und Ibrahim Maalouf in der Fischauktionshalle wechselseitig die kleine Bühne, immer wieder. Was für ein unvergesslicher Zauber!

Fantastic thanks, but is it jazz? No 2 5 1, no chord scale improvisation, na charges etc? Ok remember last years miles and it was jazz too? Or a Kind of instrumental world music?

Should we call this Jazz, when there's probably a lot of programming, and a rythm machine playing along, as seen around 4'48", when he's fidgeting with his drums, and obviously missing a hit on the snare, that (however) you can hear quite well?

Core jazz music. Besides from Nils on trumpet just magic, there are world class musicians on drums (two), guitar and bass. DJ strangefruit is providing some spice with the decks and knobs. Excellent. This is JAZZ!

Not so much space music. Just very good jazz music with some elements of let's say "modern" rythms close to trip hop and even drum'n bass. Some electronica elements in the background provided by DJ Strangefruit. Thanks for your comment.
