As a swede I can say å, å och å, about this music, but I instead say oh, oh and oh! In the darkness of october it is nice to have a musical fire to be near, and this will be my fire for a long time. Thank you Ebba Åsman Quartet and Jazz Baltica 2021.

This is the first time I enjoyed a trombone performance. All other performances I have experienced were romping Dixieland or something very brash. Ebba’s style reminds me of Miles Davis on trumpet. Like another person mentioned, this is something that could be a soundtrack for a film noir. I love it!

All, all excellent musicians. I really liked the drummer with his beats that seem out of time. The trombone really has a Miles Davis touch to it.
