This will make the SEC Track Championships even more competitive with the addition of Texas A&M.

North Carolina A&T recently ran a time of 3:00.23 which would have won this race they are the favorites for the '21 NCAA 4x4 relay finals.

My track team has a junior who runs a 48.83 400. It's crazy to think I may see him on TV sometime on these relays.
@JackWorman9 жыл бұрын
48 doesn't even qualify you for state in illinois
@Brent64349 жыл бұрын
no you won't haha in california that won't even qualify you for masters finals much less NCAA finals
@TheLordSnowbro9 жыл бұрын
He's expected to reach low 46s this year. So both of your comments are idiotic lol.

Wouldn't it be a 400m WR since they basically got below 3 seconds?

You guys forgive her! She was a long jumper...they see people moving and they think it's fast on the track. Especially anything over 100m lol
@theren83119 жыл бұрын
That's kind of a retarded statement. A long jumper should be able to make his school or country's relay team, if not, he should be fast enough to have times that are close to the top sprinters from his area, otherwise he/she might not be a good enough long jumper. I guess carl lewis never knew anything about sprinting, or dwight phillips or many other 100m sprinters or 200m sprinters who do the long jump.
@kenneycoleman29647 жыл бұрын
Aventine Dwight Phillips is a bad example because he never doubled and rarely did sprint races outside of jumping. Christian Taylor, Tatianna Bartoletta, and Blessing Okagbare are better examples of jumpers who also sprint on a regular basis.
@theren83117 жыл бұрын
Kenney Coleman Dwight has done many 60m sprints especially with other sprinters who sprint for USA. His 100m time is 10.06s and he has explicitly stated that he takes part in sprint races to train for the long jump. There are also videos of him competing at grand prix in the 60m, but you are correct in that he never doubled, not to my knowledge at least. He did however move from the 400m to jumping. So he's definitely a perfect example that jumpers know what running fast not only looks like but feels like along with the others I've mentioned.

@dwightlove37043 жыл бұрын
Nobody will ever run that fast on a leadoff leg in the 4x4!!!!!
@kennethcoleman13783 жыл бұрын
No he didn't, their 400 split isn't from the start finish line, it is from the exchange zone past that when they handoff the baton.
