This was recorded on the same day Kamala Harris announced Tim Walz as her VP. As an anarcho-communist, no elected official will probably ever truly represent me and what I want for our country; and also, having a woman of color running for president with a solid chance of winning is doing something for me, culturally.
I look forward to continuing to organize locally. I'll never forget how many "good leftists" laid down their tools when Obama got elected and pretended that our problems were solved. I will continue to organize for what I believe in, especially the things Democrats like to forget about once they're in office like immigration, living wage, and genocide, and I hope the rest of us will recommit to keeping our local officials' feet to the fire where we have the most influence.
