Great interview with one of the best players alive today. When he mentioned that he's buddies with Jimmy Herring and they've talked about doing something together I got excited. What a pairing that would be.

Greg has always been one of my heroes, since the first time I watched his instructional videos 25 years ago. but whenever I have seen him representing whether it was fender or any other equipment his personality was so funny it was worth the price admission . if he never played that was just icing on the cake. very good interview you showed the person not the technician only. You are an excellent interviewer thanks again.

Greg is a musical treasure. He can play literally anything, in any genre - and adds his own irreverent personality into the mix, whatever he plays. I've been a huge fan for many years. I hope all the folks watching this and commenting will come and join us Gristle Gang fans on Greg's live streams, every Monday and Friday at 5:00 Eastern Time - it's a heck of a community! 🔥👍❤

Good host with right questions + probably the most charismatic player out there (his musicality’s abilities are obviously included) + the chemistry in between the two = a quadruple thumb interview, so I’ll use 2 thumbs up + 2 big toes up as well 😊

This was so fun and interesting! I feel related to many of the topics in this video. I don’t like limitations so I love exploring and finding new ways to approach music in general. Music has been my living since I was 16 when I got my 1st paying gig in Mexico City. I started at 9 years old and now at 41 years old (moved to Seattle 16 years ago) I feel like in a new awesome beginning specially since Covid hit and changed everything . This video is inspiring me to just go for it and keep looking for more and more. Thanks Bob and Greg !

Greg's wife must have a day job. You gotta have someone supporting the operation. I like how Greg minimizes his formal musical education, so as to not offend the hoi polloi guitar player crowd, who learned in their garages. Good fusion blues/jazz guitar playing at the Funky Biscuit: melodic, interesting use of chromatics, good key changes, accurate playing, good phrasing. lots of variety in the licks (Good jazzy organ playing by Toby Lee Marshall, too.)
