Nothing compliments a guitar like another guitar. And nothing compliments a fine guitarist like another fine guitarist. A pure treat.

The way guitar duo should be played-solid comping above all. The great solos follows any way. Thanks for the posting!

The mind of Peter's Improv is just beautiful ... never rushed, every note is perfect, .. Damn. ... Two great guitarists here. Does any one have any other clips from this show? ... please, please post.

Peter's Monk-esque stuff and fluidity are on another level. And Randy's in and out harmonies make me wanna practice right now. And it's 4AM here.

@picchaz i totally agree with you. Monk cd he put out really shows him as the complete guitarist he is being it is a trio. here he shines like the sun. thanks for posting jazzkat1565.

@jazzguitardotcom 4am ! You must be a jazz musician. Peter Bernstein is very lyrical. I'll have to give Randy Johnston and listen.

I love how peter plays without the pinky in his single likes and is never in a "box" or shape...he's all over the fretboard..which is so much a part of his sound.

I love the way the Jazzkat amp is holding its own with the Jazz Chorus - close to the same power, but a quarter the size and weight. It's hard enough being a good musician without having to break your back to get good guitar sound. I'll be looking into getting a Jazzkat for myself now that I've seen how well they do.

Thank you for all of your comments, dear ones. Bebop guitar is just hobby for me, a distraction, not serious as my real thing. Please check out my "People Music" Vid on you tube.

I was wondering what amp Peter Bernstein uses... Does he use a Twin Reverb or some solid state model? However, I guess in this video it's a Jazzkat.

Pete has a Zeidler, John Pearse nickel strings, a regular humbucker fitted as a floater, and a Jazz Chorus, the other guy has a Gibson which sounds like a 800$ guitar, a shit amp. No match

+Jan Kelsens Hi again. You really must be bored as this is the third negative comment you have made on our you tube videos. Randy is a world class player and has used and supported jazzkat for at least 7 years. Where you bitten by an amp when you were young? The funny thing is Peter has a jazzkat he also uses. But good luck in your endeavors.

Sorry to rock your boat guys, but there are many good amps out there and yours is not one of them. At 67 and 55 years of playing I know what is good, I had dozens of L5CES, one of which went to my friend Jack Wilkins, had D'Angelicos and else. You cannot hold a candle to Rivera for example. Randy is a mediocre guitar player. Awful tone. At 67 and with my experience I do not need you to telle me what to think and what is good or not.

I add that considering your reactions, and your denying me to think what I do I will write an article on my website gypsyguitarfans, visited by 400 people everyday around the world. Trust me my opinion is respected as an expert and I will voice what I think of you amp and as well the way to ostracize anybody who think differently.

+Jan Kelsens Nothing to do with me and I've always tried to respect my elders but saying that your 'experience' puts you in a position to call a musician of such distinguished achievement as Randy Johnston 'a mediocre guitar player' seems like a really shit way to live your life. I'd have thought your 'experience' might have taught you to stay open minded and respectful, but hey what do I know, I'm only 18.
