mostly because they don't know how to teach him jazz swing which what he sang. they r incapable of teaching jazz. jazz will remain one of kind genre of music and one of the most difficult genre when playing instrument.

Because sometimes Is more about the game the coaches play and who is going to keep that singer, or who is going to turn their chair, that about the talent of the singer. You can see the 2 judges saying it's yours ,or it's your style and the other didn't want to turn (maybe because he already had a jazzy voice or maybe he inspite off his talent, didn't serve to their game and who would be the winning judge)
