It’s normal for everyone to question their sexuality… right? But how on earth do you know if you’re actually not straight? I don’t know. I interviewed my friends Gabriel and Ysa to find a solution and get to the bottom of this…

Fun fact you can date someone while being a acesexuel , here's why acesexual actually means having no sexual attraction alotof people get this definition mixed up. When someone says not wanting to being in a relationship or incapable of being in one thats actually called being aroromatic : incapable of feeling romantic feelings or being a relationship! So yeah alot of people get these to mixed up I hope this makes sense

Hi I love that you’re spreading this information but I do want to say one thing. It’s actually asexual and aromantic. Also it’s a spectrum so someone who is asexual may feel sexual attraction sometimes (grayasexual) and sometimes someone would be okay reading about those things but not doing them(aegosexual). There’s not exactly one set definition. Same for aromantic, someone could still be in a relationship just not feel romantic feelings towards the other person.

Knowing that I’m not alone, and that there is a process and an out come, and hearing her outcome and her research, really helped and was amazing to hear. I’m a trans man. I always knew I didn’t feel *right* but I never knew how to put it into words. When I did finally find out about different gender identities, I thought I was gender fluid because I had been filled with so much toxic masculinity and internalised transphobia because I still like the colour pink and still wanted to wear skirts or cropped shirts but I was never comfortable enough with myself to wear them. Eventually I did come around to the fact that I was a trans man. But I never really had a ‘coming out’ experience with ANY of my family. My mum found out through my friends Instagram story? I have no idea how she even found it. She didn’t come around until she found some things that raised concern for my life or something and then she finally came around. But I’m saying that, she also told my entire extended family. I didn’t know she did that until I went to a family reunion and everyone was calling me Frankie. I wasn’t ready for them to know but now they do. They all accept me- or at least they pretend to which is nice but if you have a trans friend, a trans child, or a trans family member, and they tell you- please don’t tell ANYONE else unless they tell you it’s okay. It’s not your job to tell people unless you’ve been told to do so.

To Jazzy, this was my way to find out I am omnisexual: I've always thought I am straight. You know, that's what society thaught you. I was actually really into the picture of a man and a woman. Everytime I read a romance (I like reading), I would fall in love with the male character and with the female one, too, but I would tell myself, that I like her like a friend. As if I want someone like her only as a friend. And than I accidentally read a gay book. Accidentally because I thought, that it was girl and boy, but one of the girls was just simply named Alex, what made me thinking it was a straight romance book. It was not. I've read this book and I realized it was gay. I didn't wanted to continue it at first, but it was good, so I eventually continued. In this book a girl called Sophie, falls in love with the neighbor girl Alex, after she can see Alex and her Boyfriend making out. Sophie until then thought she was straight, having some on and offs with boys in the past. But with the time both Alex and Sophie find out there lesbians. I could relate to a hundred percent. The way the feeling was discribed, the way the lesbian relationship was described, everything was attractive for me. I feld the same way a few times before, thinking those were friendship feelings. But I realized I love girls, too. And not just girls. I would be okay, I would be happy to kiss people of any gender. It wasn't weird for me, it wouldnt feel wrong for me. I asked a few straight Ally friends, and they said, that if it would feel wrong kissing a person of the same gender, but it wouldn't feel wrong because of the person, but because of the gender, your not gay. But for me it felt right. When you put yourself in a theoretical situation in your head, making out with a random girl and you would be grossed out, that's a big sign your not gay, bi, queer or so. Replay that situation in your head with different types of girls, for example your most attractive type of girls. It will not give you a final answer but it will help you finding out more about your different attractions. In the end it took me two years to find the right label for me. And even sometimes I am insecure about my sexuality. Lately my first girl crush ever outet themself as transgender, making me thinking if I was only attracted to men the entire time. It's a super long progress you have to put yourself in. Everything will be soo weird, because society never showed you, how being queer is. I wish you the best of luck, finding out whether your queer or not. In the end, it won't define you as a person, but it will teach you lots and lots of things about yourself. im glad that as a kid despite my parents being very religious and against it, i was never homophobic. which made it SOOO much easier for me to come to terms with being bi. but figuring out i was aroace was a lot harder. specifically being aromantic. because id seen a lot of people identify as homoromantic, panromantic, biromantic, etc. and asexual so i felt comfortable with labeling myself as ace. but when it came to being aromantic i was like in denial, i felt as if there was no way i didnt feel some sort of romantic attraction to people. Like i did know that obviously being aro you can still feel platonic love but somehow i couldnt grasp my head around being aromantic. so i used labels such as demiromantic or greyromantic which are on the aromantic spectrum, but it just didnt feel right. i think it wasnt until i saw one of my favorite youtubers come out as aroace a few months ago that i finally accepted myself as aroace.
