It’s actually way easier than you think, if you can play that range that is. As you go higher the notes get closer together so you can shake way easier.

I was at this concert, first row, just about water-key emptying distance. It was AWESOME. I don't think anyone can touch Allen's technique. Some people say he's a bit "soul-less" in his playing, but I beg to differ. Nothing but amazing that night. As well as the AoN. Fantastic!

i saw the airmen of note in pensacola florida. i met the two lead trumpet players after the show. it was an awesome night

there is some shake in the lead, yes, but that phrase from the trumpets is from manteca, also by dizzy

Personally Allen Vizzutti is a great trumpet player, but that lead trumpet in the back gets my attention. This is coming from a lover of screamin jazz music
