Trip Report - Alitalia a330-200 Toronto to Rome - Economy

This video is documented on a Canon Powershot 710 HS.
If you are re visiting this review, or the first time, I had to remove the sound due to copywrite on the chosen music, but least it's still my original footage.
However, in this review I show how to get to Toronto's Pearson Airport from the Toronto City Center. I am using the UP train that is the most direct and fastest way directly to the terminals.
I hope you do find some interesting clips, especially if you are planning to take this route, or flying on the a330-200 in Economy.

Hi there.. Nice video. I will be flying from New Delhi, India to Rome soon. I am thinking of booking Alitalia economy class. It's a 7-8 hour long flight. As u have seen their planes can u plz tell me if economy class is good enough for 7-8 HR long flight. I mean leg space and seat recline wise. I wish to book to premium economy if that is significantly better than economy. Also my soul reason to book Alitalia is that it's direct from Delhi to Rome.

Hi there Pratibha. I had to re watch the video to get to your answer ( I also watched the return video Rome to Toronto ). Of course paying for Prem Economy would be alot more special, but for me, id always do this on a like anything over 10 hours up to 14. Business/First is extremely expensive and premium isn't cheap either. So..overal, i think you will be okay adjusting to the economy seat for the direct flight. Once take off, adjust to your seat, then eat, sleep a bit, ask for refreshments, use the IFE, final food before landing, and then you'll be in Rome. Leg room i didn't have no probs, and the seat itself was comfortable, with the headrest able to move for better comfort. On both flights it was the same, except flying from Europe to North America across the Atlantic, it was quicker due to flying with the wind. I hope this helps. Ask if any other questions. JJ30

@@Jazzyjon30 Hi.. Thank you for replying. I was in dilemma and I did wait for ur reply. But then I booked Ethihad via a 2 HR lay over in Abu Dhabi. I have flown with Ethihad earlier as well, it's a good airline. I am travelling alone and I couldn't get assurance for Alitalia from anywhere, so I finally I went ahead with Ethihad. But I really appreciate your reply. Thank you.

Hey there sars.. sorry you couldn't view the video.. Soon after leaving Toronto flying over Montreal, the evening meal was dished out, then an hour and a half before landing, a breakfast danish was given out ( tea, coffee, juice ).

I heard the airport had a large fire and they had to restore it, hence the renovation.

Oh really, that's a shame...was this recent or a while ago why they are renovating. Since I posted this video I expect they're almost compete.

@@Jazzyjon30 When you landed there, I believe there was some fire a couple months before, so since they had to fix the airport, they decided to renovate it at the same time. The fire was a bad thing but at least it pushed the airport authorities to renovate the airport because it was in a very dire state.

I thought I was a fast reader but not with this video...your longer printed comments were not left up long enough also you had a lot of blurred images and you moved your camera to fast in the beginning. Why not let the viewer fast forward through any portion they don't like, in other words, why record something if you are going to fast forward through it? Thanks for your efforts.

Hi JC Baily, you have some good points there. I was experimenting how other people do there video's and true, you as the viewer can fwd the things they don't wish to see. But also as the viewer, you can also pause the bit where the fast caption may be also. I have a few more video's coming up in a few months and will take your tips on board. Laters, JJ30.
