So was amused to find out John Barrowman met his husband whilst he was doing a production of Rope in Chichester. Rope is probably IMO the greatest play ever written. Certainly the best I've ever seen (albeit a totally different production, in Islington in the naughts). By genius novelist and playwright Patrick Hamilton. Also adapted by Hitchcock for the big screen. And it's definitely a rich play full of nuance and challenging lines...would be interested to see how John played it.

I can't post a link on here but if you Google 'Barbara Ellen meets Andrew Lloyd Webber' and go to the bottom of the interview, there's a bit where he's asked does he like women and he replies, "Oh yes I do. Does anybody out there have any opinions about Lord Webber's sexuality? I dont know about TopGearFanForever's source but i still firmly believe that my intuition is rarely wrong. A straight guy will never, never act like him....it's just so ...unnatural !!!...A gay guy can act straight because of social pressure but a straight guy doesn't need to have a campy mannerism for showing off...NO WAY.
