I would only "argue" where you say the camera work isn't fancy. Maybe I don't follow what "fancy" means to you. Personally, the recent video with camera capturing the undercarriage and then suspension... How the camera will pan from trail shots to stunning vistas... Where the shot angle captures how with lockers and e-brake he can get Trailmater to pivot around impossible corners... I would say that anyone could watch any of his videos with the audio muted and still get a great video. (I am a camera nerd, so really appreciate when someone's videography is more than just a documentary recording.) But I wholeheartedly agree, "real" and "pure talent" are the two best descriptors for this channel.

I may be speaking out of turn here, but I believe what Stone Cold meant by, camera work, was that this channel does not "hollywood up" the videos with a lot of unnecessary editing and graphics work. You know, the distracting, time wasting stuff that gets annoying after a while. Just good straight forward camera angles and great content. At least that is how I took it.

JB Weld is no joke ... had a P0442 fault code on EMS of 2003 Tacoma. Took 2 weeks of troubleshooting (when I could) to find it. Turned out to be rollover valve on top of fuel tank had a hairline crack at the seam. Lifted bed, pulled it and JB welded it knowing I was going to order a new one. Guess what ... 8 years later it's still good to go no defects noted!

I painted the case the next day and went riding, I never did replace the cover, 25 years later still the same repair and it never gave up. It never leaked oil or showed any signs of breaking down. you could not even tell that the case had ever been repaired.

It reminds me of a time I was with some friends on a fishing trip at Strawberry Res in my old Dodge van. I drove over a cattle grate that was missing a bar or two. I swear my rear wheels came off the ground by the jolt, and my fan cut into my radiator. By the time I got to camp my engine was super hot. One friend had a tube of silicone and I packed it into the damaged area of the radiator, and filled it with stream water. It held for about 4 years. Bailing wire, Silicone, Duct-tape, JB weld, a bucket and a few other things will get you home.

Hahaha! It wasn't clickbait, but having "JB Weld" in the title of an advanced welders KZbin channel definitely caught my eye!! 😅 On my way to work, I once dropped my motorcycle when I put my kickstand down on soft hot asphalt. The gear shifter bent in and broke the crankcase plate. I was 35 mi away from home but in the parking lot of a hardware store. During my lunch break, I pulled the case plate off with one tool then JB Weld glued the hole. It hardened by the end of my work shift. Filled it with oil and I was able to drive it to the motorcycle shop and bought a new crankcase plate. Bam! Done. JB "Weld" glue annoys me to no end in my restoration shop I feel like half my day is grinding off JB weld and scraping off silicone from "Harry homeowner" fixes.

Rory fixes his own trailer flat tire due to a leaking valve stem in the parking lot with his own hands, tools and super-awesome-well-equipped-rescue-tow-truck...then he makes a more-than-adequate, temporary, poor-man's, trail-repair (which would have lasted for weeks more than likely until the Jeep was due for it's next oil change)...THEN he expertly and inexpensively repairs the broken oil pan to better and stronger than new the next day. Does anyone WONDER why people love watching, listening to and learning from such a capable, common-sense, jack-of-all-trades, automotive design, repair and upgrade guy like him? Keep it real Rory, be you and do you, real is real good...no need for any fake, filler, fluff in your videos brother. ;)

I DROVE IT ON A TRIP TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ON THE LAST DAY OF RETURNING BACK HOME I WENT OVER SOME TRAIN TRACKS TO FAST AN BUMPED THE OIL PAN IT CRACKED IN THE CORNER (I USED THE STOCK TRUCK OIL PAN). LUCKILY I COASTED ABOUT TO SIDE NEXT TO A CHEAP HOTEL AND A PEPBOYS ABOUT 5 MILES AWAY. I USED THAT JB WELD PUDDY TO PATCH UP THE CRACK THE NEXT DAY. I LET IT SIT FOR A COUPLE HOURS , I ADDED MY OIL IT HELD AND WAS GONE DROVE 7 HOURS BACK UP NORTH WITH NO PROBLEM. I DID CHANGE THE OIL PAN TO A CORVETTE STYLE. THAT JB WELD PUDDY IS A LIFE SAVER.

Several years ago a church member pulled into the parking lot at church with his wife and grandchildren. He got out and walked around the car and then i saw all the kids chewing on gum as fast as they could. He had hit something on the road and knocked a hole in the gas tank and gas was draining out the hole. After the kids had chewed the gum for a few minutes, they gave it to him and he rolled it together and patched the tank with the gas leaking out. It worked because the leak stopped.
