This show really tugged at my heart strings, which isn't easy to do. Only a few characters really stood out to me: Bert and his wife, the British doctor (who's name escapes me) and these two. When Katie died I really felt sorry for Jake, but I did see it coming. Bert and his wife on the other hand, I didn't see that coming. I knew they were both hurt and in bad shape, but I teared up when I saw him put the poison in the wine. I wanted so badly for them to make it out of the quarantine, but unfortunately they did not. they didn't have much scenes together still they made such a good pair that we literally wait for their scenes in containment.ppl says true love is immortal but still we lose the loved ones at end.I felt true love between Jake and Katie and see Katie died at end.It's heart wrenching to see her death he wanted to keep her close in all possible way but he failed.why every true love ends with tragedy still ppl believe in that.
