I ordered two sets of 2019 mint sets and most of the coins in the sets were proof like. They are exactly like proof coins. So shiny! Beautiful. Will be sending in to be graded. The reverse side with the pictures are amazingly smooth. Thanks for the video. It helped me know that they are possibly as special as they look.

No! Did not know about PL finish. I've hunted $Thousands and found over ten WIP W's but no others. One thing I've noticed is the strike is not as strong as the Denver minted coins .They have weak hair lines and the reeding on the edge is different. You can pick them out of a new roll just by the edges. One comment on here said something about a haze on the coins, I've seen this and think the mint washes them to get die oils off them. It's hard to find a well struck ,no haze, no bag marked coin. Good luck everyone! . Thanks J&B good video.

No I did not know that there was a grading for PL finish on these newer 2019 quarters. I have received 2 rolls of the War In The Pacific 2019’s that have the finish you have shown us in this video. I hope you and Mrs.B are alright and that the storm hasn’t hit you all to hard.

You can buy rolls of 2019 quarters with the "S" mint mark from the mint. I bought one roll of each design.

Hello J&B, I didn't know about PL finishes before watching this video. I'm on the East coast and believe it or not, I have yet to find a single W mint mark. I think I'm going to just buy a box at my bank tomorrow. It would be sweet to find a couple of each 2019 that's out there. Yeah right huh? Good luck to me on that one...lol...I'm sure I'll need it.

Easy to find. Ive found 100s. Finding them in change from a store wont happen without pure luck. Go to bank and buy $500 boxes, return the box after you look thru it and get your money back.

@@Trish.O-q3h so did I, I was just being a little facetious. The mint has a history of making mistakes IMO. Of course they'll tell you that, the quarters were never meant to issued in mint sets, bags and rolls, but don't be surprised if someone finds a few.

Yes I've heard about the Proof Like designation, however I thought it just meant the coin was a lot higher quality in appearance not so much that it looked like a proof coin.

Wow I was looking thru my quarters for that 1977 coin and unbelievable I found just one 2019 quarter out of the bunch and it happened to be the wilderness coin lol from the philidelfia mint

*PROOF LIKE means NO (ABSOLUTELY NONE) cloudiness on either side of the coin. Need to be under light and move coin around, any haze kills Proof Like.

Had no idea as I have seen some of the weirdest finishes but didn’t know anything like this was waiting for me to find. I did get 7 new bank rolls of the new Guam War in..., I’m so glad I looked at all of them in one roll as in the middle of 50 ‘P’ was one ‘W’. Now I will check the finishes. This might be the first time I ever hoped and prayed to find a way to get a winner! They’re all pretty much perfect but I hadn’t made note of the finishes so I’m really hoping. J, Is that something that I am totally aware of in this video was made I think on 3 September, you said they were 40 more days is that true to get to an early listing or whatever you call it but At a $20 rate as well for the reviewing and rating of this coin. I’ll try looking also as I have never submitted any as yet, I know I have to join first which is more money and the form confuse me to no end and I heard you can get it rated from $19 to 250 when I have no idea what boxes to check and I think it has to be in triplicate which is easy with a PRINTER and I’m not even sure you can use one. If I have 40 days from the time you made this video that means that it would be fun second week in October and I have to move very quickly especially when I can’t understand what I’m reading and dad don’t know a coin shop near me and then I know I’ve got to do this and a few others too so might as well just blow it all on hopes and dreams and worry about the repercussions afterwards because it’s not Gambling or in a way it is, but it’s really investing and hoping for a return that is better or more but I’ll keep you updated and I hope you do let me know how or what to look for or there’s a video I can find or anything and I’m stuttering because now I’m nervous as this just might be a real WOWZA video for me. I have some 2019 quarters which appear exceptionally shiny, but I’m not a collector, and I don’t know what PL looks like. None of them are W. Some of the ones which look very shiny have a funny color to them. It looks like some gold or something got mixed in with the silver. It reminds me of the rainbows you see in oil spilled on water. It is there, it is shiny, but it doesn’t look blended. Is that what PL looks like?

I have a 1999 Delaware D quarter with no rim on most of the quarter and no edge ridges (reeded edge). Its smooth flat to the edge and smooth all the way around the edge. Its a very neat looking coin. Any value?

I am so glad i bought a 2019 uncirculated set that has all quarter on it. when i first got it I thought wow those are really nice.......months later watch this video to see proof like finishes for quarters and to be honest looking at all the coins in the set.....all of them look proof like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found a war in the Pacific D-proof like yesterday. Fell out of the vending machine and the luster made me think it was a proof. Almost perfect, but may have some tiny nicks on the edges. No one else seems to know they exist, and only talk about the W quarters. Any idea of the rarity or worth of one of these proof like quarters is.

No, I didn't know about proof like quarters. I do know that some of the Morgan's received the PL. Grade and I have found PL nickles, I don't know if this is typical on all denominations or not. 2017, are the one's I found, I have 3, let us know if it's intentional, and all the stuff that comes with that.
