Looking at the 300 alongside Marshall's Killburn 2 & Acton 3. For $400 (which is a heavily discounted price where i live) do you recommend this over the Marshall Killburn or the Acton?

Hello Pannags, our customers have so far been very happy with the Authentics 300. We don't sell either the Killburn or the Acton, so we can't offer informed comments. But JBL does a great job with this category - enjoy your new tunes!

Excellent speaker. But I cannot download and use their Ap without first installing Wifi on my speaker. That is not good. Please tell me it is possible to download their App without having to install the wifi on my phone first. No one from JBL videos has responded. I hope you do. Thanks

HI Rich, you can use this really good sounding speaker as a Bluetooth system, no problem. If you want to use their app, which most folks find easy to use, it is a Wifi app. Please reach out to us if we can help further: [e-mail]

@@GramophoneMD thank you very much for the reply. Let me see if I understand this. You’re saying that I can use the application on my phone without having to connect to Wi-Fi on my speaker but using Bluetooth is that correct many thanks for your swift reply.

@@stevendavies7351 i have listened the both authentics 500 and the beolit 20 authentics 500 is way better it has a way wider sound image and a frequency response but its not mobile
