Before purchasing SB 190 via TataNeu , I have visited Chroma store to see a demo and I was convinced with the quality and the loudness that it can deliver. But with the regular use at my home , I cannot feel the same. The content would be majorly videos on KZbin , some shows on OTTs and sports live. I feel a major disappointment with the clarity. Loudness is as expected but when the songs play , I cannot tolerate more than 15 mins of continuous usage. I turn down the volume so that my head doesn't suffer - The reason being some portions of the songs where music , background audio and vocals all are heard , it only comes out as Noise and kills the experience. I use HDMI eARC port and connect to a LG TV. On top of this - there is no button available to increase the bass/treble at a lower volume where its comfortable for the ears. This again is a disappointment. Movies sound better comparatively. The subwoofer and the lower bass is very good. The issue feels is with the soundbar. I somehow feel that the issue could be with my particular unit but how do I prove it to the JBL/Harman team. After sending multiples mails to Support, the only response I got was a Sorry and I'm not eligible for a refund or a replacement or even a repair because this is a case of user dissatisfaction. All I wanted was clarity and that is lacking with this model. My humble request to consumers deciding whether to buy or not is take your time to test the soundbar at the retail outlets with multiple sound tracks from multiple connectivity options from a similar distance between soundbar and you to that in your home. If you are impressed , then opt to take the demo soundbar itself maybe you can get at a lesser price too. For price around 18 19 K , it can be a tricky decision to make. But do consider other options like Samsung B550/Yamaha 209 , because clarity will increase your watch time on the TV.

Great response. But in 2.1 to reduce volume alone of woofer is a problem. My current avante bar has a problems on voice clarity & after warranty period get complaints on multiple times, now board issue will cost 60% if its prize to replace. So now planning jbl which most users saying jbl is best rather than sony & samsung in terms of long usage with out problems, but your problem again making confusion to me. I believe 5.1 is best, there we can reduce bass of woofer alone which gives a good experience. But jbl 5.1 is high prize, here comes the option of choosing fozi audios amplifier which has super reviews of users, but no service centres here is a problem. Whats your thoughts any other brands. Pls reply.

@@sunilnr6184 everyone has thier liking to the kind of sound signature a soundbar produces. So if you would have to select soundbar purely based on the audio quality and richness....You will have to do a demo at the store and decide. But coming to the features....Samsung and Yamaha give those options to tweak the audio output as per your liking. Recently heard about LG and Polk soundbars too. Personally, I like to have a balanced audio signature with a great clarity and some thumpy bass if possible. Samsung B550 , Samsung B67E(5.1) - Heard some great reviews on these . Yamaha YAS 209 , Polk Signa S2 , Samsung Q600. If you are open to buying a 5.1 ...you can definitely try out SamsungB67 - read positive feeback about it. I have also heaed people skip soundbar altogether and go for AVR system/home theatre system eventhough they cost you higher but give you an outstanding experience.

To be very honest none of the JBL Mk2 series soundbars especially the 2.1 300 watts and the rest of the sound bars are over priced just because JBL is a brand name. But the bass is poor. Higher end systems of JBL cost 77k but not worth the price. Take a proper comparison with Sony before investing in JBL

Deep bass have quality bass . I try all 2.1 deep bass . 5.1 sround barr. 5.1 bar sb 120 but cinema bars have nice sound even without woffer . Personally i using 9.1 soundar and bar 1000 sorround . But i like deep bass 2.1 it gives awesom bass with movies . And i upgrade my woofer with 11 inch i had extra woofer i install 2.1 deepbass amp i 2.1 sorround woofer it increase quality bcz itz 11 inches 😂😂. 2.1 and bar5.1 looks similar
