We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning kzbin.infoUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

@@FlowT1 for me it did not worked out. i used the metallic material from tablet sleeve and fixed with them all 4 screew's with a connection to each other. it does not helped.

@@tysonbiziwick3933 i did not could solve the problem. As i have readen further, it happens if the ferrit inside a magnetic zylinder have touched the zylinder, it is not possible to fix this with some extra screws or stuff around the mounting.

mine felt down to the floor from like 1 meter and the right speaker started to make popping sounds.. i have opened it and saw that silicone glue on magnet came off, glued it back and it works good back again

Hi Tony, I purchased the Harman Kardon Onyx Mini after listening to your sound test and comparison video, I love it! I'm now selling my JBL charge 3 as I think it's too muffled and bass heavy at higher levels that's drowns out the mids, thanks mate!

ich hab nen Schraubenzieher rein gesteckt und das teil abgemacht aber da war so eine Schlaufe aus Plastik die auf einen nippel passt der ist jetzt abgebrochen und die charge 3 lässt sich nicht mehr ganz schließen :(

@@SelwynBaptistebsc check the wires going into the back of the speakers, they may be coming loose. There is a video showing how to solder the wires to keep them from being loose.

der Charge 3 ist für maximalen bass ausgerichtet und um diesen zu erreichen muss man die höhen stuzen damit keine Intermodulation entstehen hätte er hochtöner wäre es kein problem. Denke aber der charge 4 wird höchtöner haben

Corey Ridings I would like to know too. I just bought mine less than a week ago. I did an update, then accidentally blasted the music twice while connecting to Bluetooth. It still works okay but I can hear a slight distortion/static on the highs. It makes some songs sound slightly harsh. ☹️

If you pour water on the grill and water does not roll off, it means your water repellent has worn off, by taking the cover off, you can rub wax on the cover and use a hair drier to melt it in. Then your speaker should have its water repellent again

Yes, same with mine. They are not different years, just made in a different factory. They made the charge 3 in 2 different places. They apparently sound slightly different from each other, but quite similar to the untrained ear. The speaker driver Dimensions on both are very similar, but they are not interchangeable due to the “TL” having a slightly rectangular shape and not being a perfect square. The GG has a rounded off edge, but all sides are the same length.
