JBL Charge 5 vs Sony XB33 - Sound Test

I have an XB33, but i listened music on Charge 5 too. I prefer the Sony's stereo and LDAC support, because the Charge 5 has very noticable compressing artifacts due to its SBC codec.

Hi Break , I really like the sony 's stereo and LDAC support and it sound much better on bass with EQ app. SBC have affect on charge 5 audio but JBL have much pleasant audio than sony. IF Sony able improve the audio quality and fix the battery life than it will be best speaker to buy.

I have both of this. First i bought sony xb 33 last january 10, 2022 yeah quite good especially when i watched the movie thru my loptop sounds like i was in live im so happy while clicking live in my xb33. then i bought jbl charge 5 last january 21, 2022 because in my xb33 i feels like volume is not enough for me even if i will turn volume on the maximum which jbl was so powerful have twitter and woofer. But bith speajer in uncomparable guy sony sounds was unique and owesome while jbl was too powerful. Next time I'll try xb43 and when the sounds so powerful like jbl charge 5 i thinks sony xb43 is complete for me, let's see 😉

Hi Drexler , charge 5 much louder than sony. Sony give you more bass by the use of app. Overall I would say Charge 5 much better choice than sony , JBL hold the battery for long , very clear audio , amazing bass and clear audio.

Sony has more Bass and better Instruments clarity. Battery life; Sony 24 hours, JBL 20 hours.

@@zaroo_vlogs 20hrs with stamina mode on and bass mode off and without the light feature. With all of these turned on it's good for 14-12hrs.

@@NewTechup i don’t agreed with your comment. At maximum volume Sony it’s slightly harder than the JBL. The sound is moreover warmer on the Sony. The bass is better. Yes the vocal standard is better on JBL but advantage of Sony is that you can adjust EQ. So in the end Sony is the winner.

I got the Sony XB33 from Best Buy. I'm testing this out and I can say this what I don't like about Sony is that it loses Bass the higher up you go in volume.. sony should have fixed this problem by now

The SonySRS_XB 33 has a better and more durable design than the JBL Charge 5 can play stereo and have better bass and iff you turn on bass boos tthe extra bass mode can't damege your speaker. I have sony srs xb 33 very content!!

I have both what i can say is if u need powerful and expectacular bass choose jbl charge 5 and if u want cool and sounds like real just go xb33 both speaker have uniqueness and it's uncomparable. Im gonna try to go jarrir later and try xb43 and if sounds too loud with expectaular bass like jbl charge 5? Then i think sony xb43 was perfect

HI Alberto , I understand your point but in lower audio you should able hear the different between Sony and Jbl. My mic limitations have no affect on speaker audio quality , that why both speaker tested in two different volume. learning as much as I can about mic to improve the audio quality , Sorry for audio quality.
