Very nice review! Clip 5 sounds marginally louder and possibly better, but can’t stand up and must be hung. I went for the Go 4 and very pleased, it’s smaller, packs more easily and more utility in that it can stand or be hung. Plus it was $30 less.

Definitely the clip 5. Only issue for me is the price. Gonna try and wait for a discount/sale hopefully during the holidays. 80$+ is kinda steep. I could see paying 60$ for it.

Got it in Hungary brand new from store for about 70 EUR. Had Flip 6 before (lost), Charge 5 (charging port broken after 1,5 years), it's not up to them in sound quality, but still very good.

I got the go 3 and it's great! Wanted to upgrade to the go 4 or even more for the clip 5 as it's 7w versus 5w but the difference is negligible. The go 4 actually sounds bassier to me through my headphones? I need a louder speaker tho for outdoors so the clip 5 might be the one to drown out the mundane noise! But I still can't decide 😅

Go4 IS deeper than Clip5. 90hz v 95hz, respectively. Nicely perceptive 90hz is deeper than 95hz

Just got the Go 4 as a christmas present from the company I work at, it's my first portable speaker and sounds amazing even at lower volume (~50%) which I will be listening to it mostly at

If you want a bathroom or shower speaker. Clip 5 is perfect. Playtime boost is only good if you’re listening to podcast for music/movies it sounds terrible

Clip 5 sounds better but I need something in the go 4 form factor to use around the house so I’ve decided to go with that in purple. Should arrive in a couple of days.

I have a clip 5, and a Go 4, and they're both great. The clip usually goes out and about with me on trips, and the go works well for me at work or at home out in the shed. I like having both because i pair both of them together so i have music when riding my scooter/motorcycles

Thanks for the great review! I couldn't find any documentation saying they have multipoint connection to two devices which is my only reason to upgrade. Can you confirm it?

Btw, I did inquire with JBL and they claim both speakers do no have multipoint....

Been buying JBL GO every single model from the first one in 2016 till 4th model now. I am a fan and got it in pink now:) Never wanted a Clip since most of the time I use it indoors and GO takes less space in the backpack/luggage. Love your content, keep pushing the limits💪♥️

I have the clip 5 and I love it's sound I think it's pretty rich but you always have an equalizer for both of them I recommend the five but keep on mind the price of you still can't decide if recommend the UE wonder boom 2

I like to listen to something when showering, it's doesn't have to be great like my KEF or Sennheiser, something decent and cheap like Go 4 should get the job done.
