I've used the Control series for over 20 years in installations across the globe and they have never let me down. Especially when paired with BSS DSP and Crown amplification. That said, it would be nice to have a more substantial sub that the SB2210. Perhaps a twin 15 or single 18 inch with an exterior rating.

Hope you don't have to replace them all soon! My Control 1G woofers just disintegrated after 20 years¡ They were used inside, of course.

@@MarcoLopesPT I use primarily the 20 series. leaning heavily on the CTRL 25s. I have both indoor and outdoor installations, some with over 25 years in service. I looked at the CTRL 1 but as I recall it had a foam suspension on the LF driver and after having nothing but trouble with foam suspension in touring systems, I gave it a pass.

@@chrisose Exactly! It just "disintegrates" completely overtime... This never happened to me with any other speaker! Stupid me, i bought a new pair...

I love the Control 1 Speakers... BUT the woofers on my 20 year old pair just completely DISINTEGRATED!!! Stupid me, just bought another pair! Let's see if they disintegrate in the next decades!!
