Thanks a lot for this two part video man. My JBL E45BT became unusable because of the cushions, and you video was the only one I found on youtube. For anyone who's looking for these cushions in Europe, I only found it on AliExpress.

Yes, there was no video before. So I did do one after I solved this problem with mine :-) BTW: In Germany you can order it from the company shown in description. But I dont know if they sell abroad also. Glad to hear you found a solution via AliExpress.

I might be too late for an answer, but I have two pairs of headphones, one that doesn't work and a new one. Thing is, the earpads on the new ones are looking worn out and dirty, while the old ones look practically new. Can I in some way swap the better earpads from my old headphones to my new ones?

Theoretically, yes. But you have to be very careful if you remove the "good" ones so that you don't break them (foam). With the old ones it doesn't matter. After that you have to remove the remains of the double-sided tape everywhere. Then buy new double-sided tape (carpet tape) and cut it to size. Thanks! Yes, this was the reason I did do these 2 videos. I had same problem but did not find any information or video how to do this. It's sad trow headphone away because of this when possible repare...

How do you remove the pads? I’m too scared to remove mine since there’s no proper instructions on how to do it and i might break my headphones. I am also using Jbl e45bt. But the pads wont come off so easily. Please help me since my pads leather are like peeling off now and i need to replace it.

First you should buy new onces. So you see how they look. Then remove piece by peace te old ones. The "leather" first, then the foam, the double sided glue and the plastic ring (piece). Nothing can happen if you take some care. You also see how it looks and what pieces it contains on the replace pads when you have.

​@@quaithe7050 You can use knife, cutter, scissors or what ever. The double sided glue connects the pads with the case. To remove the plastic ring with the glue you need go with knife or cutter (careful! Not cut you...) between. You can see the double glue, the ring and the complete pads on my 2 videos. (There are 2 videos, see my chancel)

These earpads can be ordered from your local (national) JBL distributor or parts service. In Germany, for example, the company ESCOOR E.S.C. GmbH Website: escoor.de/ Procedure: Request spare parts by e-mail (type and color, address / delivery address, name!). You will then receive an offer or a pro forma invoice (advance invoice). You transfer this invoice amount and receive the spare earpads after a few days. The price was 10 EUR (net) for the earpads, 3.53 EUR (net) shipping + set. They ear cusions are stronge glued with double sides tape on the phone. If you are afraid you can make "piece by peace" ... in any way you MUST destroy the old cusions more ore less in some way. You can carefully remove the foam padding with scissors or knives. Then you will see that a plastic ring remains. This is the ring that is attached to the headphones with the double-sided adhesive tape and carries the padding. You have to remove the ring (with knife, spatula in between). Some light force is needed, but nothing can break. Can also bee that you must peel away after this some of the glue tape to make surface clean. Then look for right / left and that correct position (some "nose" in the plastic shows you). As you can see in the video one of the cusions I also did destroy to remove it part by part. It did not go easy away with knife between, so I cutted the grey surface what covers the foam and removed it.
