My guess is that the orange charging cable is just a standard color no matter the headphones. Because the JBL logo has an orange background so they probably used orange for that reason.

Yes... Orange is a powerful color of the brand. The common orange charge cable (in my opinion) is a way to keep the brand color for wherever color headphone you pick.

That is exactly the reason of the orange charge cable color: it is the brand color. I have other JBL products and they all came with the same orange charge cable color. I really like it.

I have blue JBL GO 2 bluetooth speaker and the usb cable is also orange. So, it is actually the characteristic of JBL.

I'm surprised at the price. I paid $69 for the Turtle Beach 450's at Wal-Mart in store. But I use them for a different purpose than you do JD. I use my headset for wireless gaming, as it has a USB stick that let's it connect wirelessly. It also let's me hook it up wired to my phone at the same time so I can discord chat with my friends or watch KZbin videos in the background. $80 for these isn't a bad price, but I know there are cheaper bluetooth/wired headsets. Usually the USB dongle/wired headsets are more expensive, so that puts me off from buying these specific headphones. But that's coming from someone who already has a headset that fits their needs.
