I am debating this and the EV 30m. I have heard the 30m in action at a house church. I mainly want a small portable easy to setup PA for church functions. The thing that has me is the battery, Which would be awesome for anywhere. The 30m has me with their mixer, since we have several people on our worship team and it would not just be me. Even though the battery is very intriguing, I am not sure how much I would actually utilize it. So far we really haven't played anywhere that didn't have power. I think if it was just me, or me and 1 more, I would want the JBL. I could easily take it out on our pool deck and jam out. But I also have outside power outlets so.......

Hi Aron, another great video. I'm thinking of getting one of these to use as both a ceremony/cocktail speaker but also as a 'rear fill' speaker in big rooms so that the speeches can be heard nice and clear all the way at the back. I downloaded the user manual using the link below and it appears that within the DSP there is a way to set a delay using the PASS THRU output but it sounds a little bit complicated? Have you considered the possibility of using it for a similar application and if so could you maybe do a 'walk through' of how this can be set up please? Would appreciate it if you have the time. Keep up the work on the videos.... Love 'em! Thanks DJ Gaz (United Kingdom)

You're describing the exact applications I have for this speaker. I haven't tried the delay yet, not sure if I would ever do that. Seems to complicate a simple use. Thanks for watching bro!
@DidierWolfs Жыл бұрын
Hi. You’ve posted a year ago, so you might have found how it works since then. If not, another way of doing this, is to set a delay on an external mixer if you use a digital mixer. Then you can apply the delay easily (besides having a better volume control, EQ, etc).

I wanted to go with the Bose L1 Pro but want to gig in some settings without access to power. Then found this came out. For $1200 you could have two for $2400 which is about the cost of 1 L1 pro 16 and the Bose mixer. Opted for a fully battery powered setup with the Eon Pro m2 & GT1 + RC500 (both take AAs) If you were to compare quality for your Bose & JBL (at same volume) would you say they’re comparable or does the Bose + mixer really make a difference

How would you compare the Eon One Pro MK2 to the Bose L1 Pro 8 ? I had the Pro 8 and was a bit disappointed (the wobbling of the extender annoyed me too). The volume of the Pro 8 was only slightly louder than my Bose Compact L1. How would you compare it to the L1 with B2 ?
@rafaelunplugged2 жыл бұрын
@@silverx5a I've used the compact for a good number of gigs. The Eon Mk2 I bought filled a pretty big outdoor space when on battery (powered has 4 more SPL) A space that fit two bocce ball thingies. I could not find a setting for vocals senheisser 9353 when plugged direct via built in mixer through XLR My GT1 Through RC500 Sounded much better through the line in on the XLR channels (1-3) vs the dedicated line channel 4 strangely enough. The acoustic patch on my T5z sounded fantatsic through that same channel 1/4 direct in which was awesome. I saw somewhere that everything tends to sound better through a mixer so I may opt for a vocal pedal w battery to the mixer input or a battery powered mixer, as I opted for this for it's battery pack. I tested out the L1 pro 16 and that definitely has more boom Id you loop like Ed Sheeran and do the "kick drum" via slapping down on the strings by the bridge but I figured battery power > full size & sound at $800 more + needing a $600 mixer. You can get two of the eon one mk2 for $2400 and really just one L1 pro 16 + mixer.
