I brought jbl party box 310 after doing a lot of research. My Final decision was made between sony srs xp700 and jbl 310. Sony when disconnected from power plug the sound drops quite a bit. I went for jbl party box 310 and it's worth it. Ultimate powerful speaker.. damn good battery backup.

@Cielo S Games then you should go for 710 because you already have something with a similar output. 710 is very powerful and punchy so you can use it for a party, outdoor event, and functions. 310 is more than enough for rooms and small party functions etc. I don't increase volume by more than 50 percent. That itself is very loud in my room. So imagine how much more powerful 710 will be. So depending on your use, you buy it. 310 is more than enough for rooms, small gatherings, and small outdoor events.

@twinkleannie5538 jbl party box 310 Battery will last for weeks if you use it for personal purposes . With battery, you don't have to plug in all the time, which means amazing portability. You can easily keep it in any place you want, and then you can listen to your favorite music in full blast . I personally prefer the battery one, and the battery will last more than 12 years. Compared to other models, its battery capacity is huge, so fewer charging cycles mean more battery life.If you use it properly and you take good care of it. You can listen to music even when it's plugged in .Never plug in all the time once it reaches full charge, remove it from charging, don't let the charge go below 30%and also don't forget to charge it at least once in a month. 710 is an overkill. It is very heavy and it is tough to manage. It takes a lot more space, and you will struggle a lot to move it around. It is useful for a hall or for a dj party .doesn't have a battery. I prefer the sound clarity of 310 and its bass, too. 710 is too loud and feels irritating to the ear in a closed room. 310 is a very good speaker. It sounds amazing while watching movies in netflix . Bass gives thetre like feel for sure.

I dnt know whether I will use it ever in outdoor or not.. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

It consumes 40 watt with 50% volume and 85 watt at 90% volume only, I have tested it with my 750VA inverter and run smoothly with Inverter, no glitches. Its a perfect audio device.

One fine evening my cousin got the JBL pb 310 and brought it to show us at our house, i was in awe as i had never experienced such clear and crisp loudness in my life except in those assembled china products which started distorting at higher volumes. My dad liked it so much that we got one of our pwn the very next day, the JBL pb 310...we heard pretty good music but there was a dissatisfaction on my father's face, when i asked him he said that it was not loud enough and bass was not that powerful (even on charging, i.e a full 240RMS) and in showroom he saw the 710 besides the 310...i guess his mind was stuck there I resonated a bit with him on that point...so we started narrowing down the pros and cons of 310 vs 710 and concluded to choose btwn either we want portability (as of battery in 310) or extra performance (bass)...money too was a point to consider but dad told that if we buy something like this we ought to keep it for atleast 7-8 years and thus that extra premium of 20k becomes a moot point Now coming to 310's battery associated portability feature...any battery in the world is going to deteriorate at a point in time and afterwards we have to use the device on constant power supply only...so why not do it from the start!! And also we werent't going to move the speaker around much plus my father has 2 sons who can carry him as well as the speaker anywhere he wants 😅😊 So finally we returned the 310 the very next day and brought in the 710...rest is history 🔥🔥

for what battery?? even pb 310 lose 50% power on battery mode, i first have pb 100 and always listen music when plug in, because is much better, so no point battery in speaker size like PB 710 or on entire PB family, i bet 95% people when by pb 310 always listen when plug in, you want battery for portable speaker, PB 710 its not portable speaker, you cant move him around all time, this speaker is for basement, big house, pool, garden..
