yes, and JBL channel disabled comments under the JBL Encore essential vid, marking it "for kids" the speaker is also for kids, who only need it for an hour. I am very disappointed.

How did you manage to upgrade it? Did you Set multiple in parallel?

No. I cross referenced the battery wattage/voltage, and bought a new one on ebay. Using this video I was able to take apart the speaker until i got to the battery housing. I simply (carefully) unplugged and swapped the batteries. Ill add "BE VILIGANT" about the bluetooth antenna. I had to take it all apart again when I realized the signal range was shorter. Only to find the antenna was unplugged lol. Its fairly easy if you're comfrotable with DIY/tech. Good luck@@leonbart4893

The Encore got bigger battery so I wonder it there is extra room inside that same battery area or you had to fit the extra battery inside the box?

It is the exact same size as the original battery. You simply unplug the stock and plug in the new one. There is space in the chamber if you're talking about making a bigger custom battery. However, I cant comment on that as I am not knowledgeable in that field.@@BrunoPOWEEER

It is a shame they didn't pute the boombox 2 battery in the speaker it would be a lot better but the encore essential isn't too much only £150 and you are already getting a lot for that price buy they could of at least pute a bigger battery in it

I have the partybox encore and the insides are totally different. I had to open mine because I wanted 17000 mah instead of 7000. I did brake some of the pins holding the sides and the bottom, but after I've assembled it it looks fine and it holds good

the acoustis are insane but they lack audio quality, I hope soon they get LC3 or LHDC or at least LDAC but LDAC is licensed by sony and its kind of expensive, I just still not knowing why speakers are having such highquality things but still using SBC or AAC bluetooth audio. Only sony is using LDAC in their speakers, idk why they dont implement it everywhere.

@@fredvoid5976 Partybox Encore / Encore Essential are both Boombox 3 killers, JBL wouldn't let they own cheaper speakers crush more expensive ones. So there's a tradeoff, cheaper but with less battery life... Sad but hey. I prefer the tuning of Partybox Encore compared to Boombox 3, as Encore is more neutrally tuned compared to Boombox 3. If you want a neutral-ish kind of sound, still with ~90% of Boombox 3 bass output and a large battery, Boombox 2 is still a very nice speaker and can be found cheaper too 😉

Theb Partybox has more sub bass and mid bass. Just overall more bass. But the boombox gets louder and has better instrument separation. I have the boombox 3 and it's amazingly good

Olá amigo teria como colocar legendas em português, eu vou fazer uma experiencia e vou aumentar os Mha das baterias vou usar + 2 baterias dela que vou importa da china que vai da 15.000Mha, as conexão dos fios das baterias posso ligar as 3 nas cores tipo pegar as 3 bateiras e ligar em um so cabo exemplo, pegar os 3 fios amarelo e ligar em um só assim com os outros fios e ligar só em uma entrada?

Acho que seria melhor comprar dois conjuntos com duas iguais à aquela configuração original e depois ligar em paralelo, ai no caso pode até colocar quantos conjuntos com duas ligadas em paralelo quiser.

@@tectododia9262 Na verdade, estou analisando algumas caixas desse estilo e tamanho pra comprar e achei essa interessante, mas a bateria é muuuuuito ruim cara, e como tenho algum conhecimento em eletrônica sei que dá para fazer isso tranquilo até porque tem muito espaço ali, mas só que vou perder a garantia. E analisando as caixas disponíveis hj gostei muito da Tronsmart Halo 100, a qualidade do som deve ser a mesma coisa desse JBL e com muito mais bateria, só pra ter ideia ele tem 6 dessa bateria do JBL, que por sinal só vem com duas de 2600mah, e quase pela metade do preço.
