We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning kzbin.infoUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

@@shelldaniel6412 Hello. For DAB it works well. For FM it also works ok but it depends on the insulation in your car. Remember though that if your phone gets a good signal then you simply pair it to your speaker. Great little device.

@@hxosplus no, there is no reset button at the back. Even tried reset / restart by pressing FM/ Dab button + Bluetooth button together, it get restart after pressing this 2 buttons together but get stuck again at english language.

based on the instruction manual you gotta factory reset it so you can choose another language.

@@dilipdas5777 sir, I don't think so. At 6k one can buy jbl flip 4 and connect with your mobile fm app and listen great sound. Even philips at 1200 is better radio. Mine stopped after 1 month and sent to repair ! Highly overpriced . At 11000 one gets panasonic TOWER speaker with FM.

No DAB is digital. AM and FM are analogue. That said here in Australia most AM (and FM) stations are 'mirrored' on the DAB+ system - capital cities only so far and DAB+ has been around for 10 years.. so do a google check to see if your area receives a DAB signal. It's *very* good but not so if you have poor reception, like on the outskirts of the main transmission area.
