A safe set to go for is the OnePlus Buds Z2. I never really liked how heavy it was in the bass department. It was a little too heavy for my liking, but now the HeyMelody app has a nice controlled EQ option, which I quite like. So you do have the option of having heavy bass or a more natural sound now. It's a very enjoyable set to listen to. One thing to keep in mind is that my unit developed a hissing ANC issue. Thankfully, however, OnePlus acknowledged this as a manufacturing defect and has been replacing units that have this issue. It seems to have died down over time, so I don't think you'll have this problem. But if you do, heading to their service center should sort you out.

Hi paul, i got the enco air 2 pro seeing your review and i have some comfort issues as the earbuds does not fit inside the ear snugly. I see that you have already reviewed the sony wf c500. I know that they are superior in sound. But do they have good isolation. Im looking for no nonsense good sound under 5000. Nothing any more specific.

The C500 does have very good isolation, so much so, I thought it had ANC when I first tested it. Very nice sounding pair, but sadly, I haven't been able to do an in-depth review on them. If you're okay not having ANC and touch controls, I'd say they're a nice pair to own.

In this price range, the oppo enco air 2 pro is great, but its multi connectivity has to be done manually by touching and holding a bud. The seamless switch over is done well with the air 3 pro and realme Buds Air 5 Pro.

Those are very specific requirements. I haven't reviewed too many wireless earphones, but in the sub 5k region, I've always quite liked the Oppo enco air 2 Pro. They work well and are a great no-nonsense set to own. No doubt they won't support all those codecs. The other set I've really come to like is the LG FP5. Terrific sounding set of earphones for the price. They sound like they're worth 15-20k. Very premium sounding. Feel free to give my reviews on these a look.

If you prefer heavy, strong bass, the Z2 handles it without a problem. The JBL Wave Beam isn't as aggressive in its bass delivery. Omif you don't like a heaviness in bass, the Wave Beam cam be am enjoyable set to own.

Of the few I've tested, I quite like the JBL 230NC. It's a great all-rounder but with one potential flaw. A few people have mentioned in my comments that one bud doesn't come on or charge, after which they've taken the unit to JBL where the contact points are cleaned and the unit works alright. So, if you're willing to deal with that headache, it's worth it. Luckily, my unit hasn't had this issue yet. If the LG FP5 was in your budget, I would've highly recommended it, but they seem to have increased its price. It sounds quite premium for what it's being sold for, even now.

It's a little too new to face any glitches. It's been working fine so far. With the low latency mode, it is better than with it off for sure, but if you're a serious gamer, going wired is the way to go. Some IEMs go for a very affordable price and sound terrific for the cost.

I've come to really like the oppo enco air 2 pro. It's super value for money for what it costs. The 230NC will certainly be an upgrade when it comes to the sound front, and if you prefer clarity with tight bass, the JBL won't disappoint. I haven't faced any comfort issues with the JBL, but I have with the oppo. My left ear is a bit smaller than the right, so its left housing does tend to cause discomfort, which leads to pain, but only during long listening sessions. Both haven't fallen out of my ears during any activity, but this could be quite subjective depending on each person's ear shape.

Nice set to own. I used to find it too heavy sounding in the bass, but with the Bold eq setting on the Hey Melody app, it sounds nicer. It doesn't have as much detail as the JBL though. I still prefer the JBLs sound.

Enco Air 2 Pro. It's not loud and obnoxious sounding like the Z2, for one...and a few people have had hissing ANC issues with the Z2, me included. The Oppo works without any drama that way, so oppo any day. If you prefer heavy bass, the Z2 is the way to go, it's also the loudest set I've heard.

Driver size doesn't necessarily translate to bigger or better sound. The Tune Beam has a 6mm driver but they've tuned it really well.

I've found the oppo enco air 2 pro to be a great, no nonsense set of earphones. They do everything they need to without any glitches. It's a great set to own if you want a good all-rounder. Some oppos I've used have lasted well over 2yrs. Would reccomend.

I haven't tested either of these, so I wouldn't want to give you any wrong information. However, for under 2k, you can get a really good set of IEMs that will do much better than give you good mid range. I think the Tangzu Wan'er will suit you well. Funnily enough, in this budget, I quite like the JBLs, but they're only suitable for audio consumption because of their lag. I preferred the way the 230NC sounded over the Nothing Ear1. They've done a great job tuning them. If you're looking for clarity over thump, I can reccomend the Yamaha TW-E3B, they're surprisingly good when it comes to the way they sound. You won't get all the bells and whistles with it, but sound has been their priority instead of features on most of their products. It's latency isn't bad, certainly not like the 230NC. Wireless is bound to have some lag unless you decide to go for a set of IEMs. I've reviewed a few, feel free to give those reviews a look if you'd like to.

@@PaulsPOV Yep I've seen those comparison reviews but I want tws over iem so currently looking among wave beam, Tune 230 NC and Jabra elite 3. The wave beam are somewhat uncomfortable as you mentioned and support only sbc codec, while the 230 NCs have the lag problem, while I have seen reviews with quality issues about the Jabra elite 3 and am not really into buds design as I did not like the Oppo enco buds which I had earlier. So mainly confused among the wave beams and the 230 NCs. The 230 NC also have the best in class Anc so that's a nice addition but I want to know upto what extent is the lag noticeable.

I've quite enjoyed how the 230NC sounds, but since you're on the fence with it because of its latency, it's a decision you'll have to make...I'm leaving a link below, head over to the latency demo. This is a very subjective thing. It holds well in my ears. I'd say I have average sized ears. My left ears concha is a bit smaller than my right ears. But these hold well and don't cause discomfort. They do feel loose for a friend of mine, but he does have rather large ears. So he avoids these kind of gadgets, only prefers headphones for this reason.

@@PaulsPOV Thanks Paul 😁... I have decided to go with the Realme buds air 3S primarily because of their custom EQ setting. I know their default signature is more bass heavy and bloated, but they can be tuned pretty much close to the Oppo enco air 2 pros. Their drivers are better tuned compared to the Realme buds air 3 and if their fit are comfortable, I don't think folks will miss ANC that much. Also they have the multi device connectivity in this price range which I think is more productivity appealing than ANC. I highly recommend you to try them so that you can give even more budget friendly options to your subscribers. Thanks 😊

They are almost a year apart in launch dates. The Wave Beam has BT 5.2 and the Wave 200 has BT 5.0. It's possible the Wave Beam is a replacement model for the Wave 200. They have very minor differences in specs on paper.

These are terrible for calling no passive noise control at all... On calls noises from the surroundings are way more than speaker's voice... I have listened to it and it sounds terrible on listeners end... NOTE : I have disabled Ambient Aware option still the issue persist... Sound quality is good but for calling purpose its worst.. Hi Arun. Of the few you've mentioned, I haven't reviewed the 130NC, so I wouldn't be able to comment on it. Between the others, the oppo enco air 2 pro is the best all-rounder with a no-nonsense owners experience. The OnePlus Buds Z2 has had a hissing ANC issue in the past, but OnePlus has been replacing defective units. It's bass heavy for music and does well for calls. The realme buds air 3 is a nice unit to own, only if you never make calls, call clarity isn't the best out there. I've enjoyed the jbl wave buds and wave beam and haven't had them for long enough to see any glitches yet, but they seem well built, and I don't expect them to have problems. Jbl wave beam, realme buds air 3 and oppo enco air 3 pro, all make my left ear feel discomfort, which leads to pain when listening for longer sessions. If you have smaller ears, you might also face this discomfort issue. For that price, I'd recommend the Oppo Enco Air2 Pro. I prefer it over the wave beam for features, but more importantly, sound. It's a great long-term product. I've had mine for well over a year and a half now, and it's still going strong, apart from the usual battery degradation, which is expected from any TWS set of earphones. These Wave Beams aren't exactly bass happy, but they're nice for lighter genres of music. I'd day you get more value from the oppo's I've mentioned. Feel free to watch my comparisons and reviews on it. I quite like what they do. Oppo does have audiophile heritage, after all.

Honestly the review is not worth it. I saw this video and was like okay i should buy these fits in my budget and everything but let me tell you worst tws EVER. When you connect it to your phone there is this weird noise even though you’re not playing anything the noise is there and when you use this tws and walk on a beach the air noise you get is so annoying. Its not blocking the air noise plus it already has a weird noice when you connect it to your phone. The noise is more like the dish tv no cable noise (reminds me of childhood). Not worth it.
