JBL | BAR 300/500 How to connect to Wi Fi and TV

When choosing bass setting more than 3, and playing something with deeper (boosted) bass there is a distortion sound from the bass port like vibrations from plastic housing or something loose inside. On level 1 and 2 it is not audible, but bass is also gone. Please assist !

My subwoofer occasionally disconnects from the soundbar and I have to unplug everything to get it to sync back up. Is there a way to manually enter pairing mode to reconnect the sub when that happens instead?

One little thing I miss: You write at 0.17 "Make sure it says "Setup Wifi" in the display" ..... Question: How do you get it to do that?

I did a quick search on the manual online (found on the JBL site under the BAR 500 product). This is what I found: → If the soundbar has not been connected to a network, the screen shows “HELLO” and then, “SETUP WIFI”. After you connect power it will display this message (first time connecting it).

Sadly No. You Need „jbl bar Setup“. I‘ve had the bar 5.0 multibeam for 2 weeks now and today arrived my bar 300 and its much better! In my case my bar 5.0 couldnt Even Connect to the „jbl bar Setup“ App while the bar 300 was detected and found before i even search it in the „jbl one“ App! Soundwise its a Sound with more room in it if u know what i mean. The Sound is more rich than the bar 5.0 imho. Got my bar 300 for 230€ instead of 300€

Do you have to use the app or can you adjust settings using the remote?

On the remote, you can control the Source select, Sound effect buttons, sound calibration, playback volume, and mute. While the JBL One app manages the Wi-Fi setup, Audio calibration & demo, Personalize audio settings, Manage and control device, and Music service integration.

I have the JBL500 and it won’t connect to my wife. I have never had an issue with anything like this in the pass but it consistently gives me an error. Password is 100% correct and the hub is right next to it… what am I doing wrong?

@@GeorgeKershawBMX i found out the solution for it , after opening the app it tells us to connect to wifi by typing in the password now previously i used to put in my wifi password but instead select the option of show other available wifi networks and then we have to select our wifi router from there and type the password which will then proceed to further process. It worked for me 😀
