This is my favorite Heart song. It showcases Ann Wilson’s powerful and beautiful voice. When this song kicks into high gear, it can bring you to tears.

Heart has been rocking since 1967. My Mom used to blast Heart from our record tower as we cleaned the house. Back then all kids cleaned the house. We loved it because, it meant time with Mom. Car repairs meant time with Dad, house cleaning meant time with Mom. My Mom time meant more to me because, my Mom worked so much harder!!!!!!! My Mom was awake when we went to bed, and she had been awake for hours when we woke up. My Dad got seven hours of sleep, my Mom got five if she was lucky. My Dad has been gone for 18 years, my Mom is still strong, and has more energy than me. She goes out to the bar with me, and is still my best friend. My wife has no problem with that, because my Mom is her best friend as well. Great reaction my good friend, I always look forward to your genuine reactions! You are a good kind, and strong man!!! Thanks!!!

It certainly was awesome to live in the era of music like this. Nothing was better than hearing these songs on the radio back in the day. That's all we had--radio, cassette tapes and records. And you're right, it's timeless and should be appreciated by all generations. I'm glad KZbin reaction channels are bringing our music to the new generations.

Back in the time period of this song, I had the pleasure of meeting Ann and Nancy. A friend was the concierge at the Hilton in Pittsburgh Pa., they were playing at the Civic Arena. Somehow she managed to arrange a meeting for her boyfriend, myself, and a couple other friends to meet and have a drink with them. It is something I will remember forever. Not only was it the coolest thing that has ever happened to me but they were just unbelievably cool. They were in no hurry we just sat in a private bar and talked... very cool, very cool indeed!!!
