When I was a kid my dad worked security for Billy Dee Williams. I used to go to school and tell my friends that my dad was Lando Calrissian's body guard. One night he let me come with him. Billy got my dad to drive him to a friend's house for dinner and that friend was Gladys Knight. We had dinner covered by a legend of soul. She was such a sweet and kind lady. I'll never forget that day.

The most beautiful song I've ever heard. I stole the album from Mom back in the 70s and still have it. Shes telling you a story about two people in love...they know it's not going to work out, and neither want to say goodbye. We'll never have music like this again. Beautiful woman!🙏🌹❤

Gladys Knight. SHOCKINGLY UNDERRATED ! without any shadow of doubt, one of the greatest female vocalists of all time, never mind Motown. Had the privilege of seeing her on one of those UK Motown revues in the very early 70's when every top Motown act performed, and she was mesmerising and even better live.I swear she didnt need a microphone. what. a. voice.

I would love to see you go get your grandma, play this song nice and loud and dance with her, or just be on camera with her as she hums/sings along. It will be a memory to last you a lifetime. These old beautiful classic songs speak right to the heart and bring us back to old familiar times. P.S> I've been watching many families, groups do their "reactions" and I always, always enjoy yours the most. Nothing phony, just pure emotion and joy, sorrow, etc., Whatever you feel you share it with us. You are so adorable.

Modern day roots man. This is Soul for sure, but this was also Pop, and very very popular to everyone who grew up in the 70's. The 50's, 60, and 70's was the Golden Age for dynamic and soulful rhythm and modern rock. The list is very long brother.
