I also have the JC Higgins animal targets, but I have many of them with the same number and title, #3,5,7,9,10, and 11 but different drawings. Sometimes it's the orintation of the animal on the target, or how many extra bullseyes there are, but they all have a different drawing of the animal. Some of the drawings are very crude. Not sure about there date but it can't be all from 1955. Also checked my rail bird target #12 for 10's with a loupe and could not find any, probably a printing problem , thoes old press blocks wore out over time. Another little fact is that at some point Winchester Western must have bought the rights to some of the prints, I have some of there old targets with exact copies of the animals . Nice to see someone show them !
