That's what I did, but I used 3% so it took twice as long. It initially worked wonders, but they're reverted back and have gotten even worse. Even my vintage stormtroopers I treated and had in storage also re-yellowed. It's almost like a cancer, it can be treated, but never cured.

Yeah I keep my clones in a black box inside a cupboard and never rarely take them out but they have still yellowed to the point where it matches the yellow on my bly

I have heard that little bags of Silica gel help to prevent yellowing. I since have a few of these bags in my room. Worth trying. Might help. Take care. Roy

My 1st clone I ever got was the 41st elite core trooper, the one on this list. I honestly don’t mind it. When I first got it I thought it was a normal phase 2 trooper.

CC-7567 Captain Rex honestly as much as I like fives Fox was completely justified in shooting. Put your self in his shoes. You find the person who just tried to assassinate the president, and is holding a military general, and captain captive. You and a group soldiers walk in to a where-house. You hear the person screaming and going of crazily about a conspiracy theory about the president. You and the rest of the group run up to the guy even saying don’t do it when he reaches over to a gun an aims it at you. If this was real life would you take the shot? Also remember that the kaminoin drugged Fives at the start of the episode, they never say what exactly it was. My guess it was poison or that thing that the chancellor blames everything on at the end of the episode so Fives was probably dead anyway. But one thing I like is that at Five’s last word when all the clone are taking of their helmets off Fox is not there, my guess is he was calling for a medic (as Rex was telling the shocktroopers to.) Or he really felt bad about shooting his brother. However the most likely reason why we don’t see Fox take off his helmet and morn is that the directors and staff have some weird thing where they don’t like Fox’s helmet coming off. He is one of the only clones that have been in multiple episodes and we never see his face, it’s really weird especially considering that he is in one of the most influential clones I mean he saved Padme from ziro, hunted Ashoka when she was framed for being a terrorist and hunted Fives when he was accused of attacking the chancellor. Also about the stun thing (correct me if I’m wrong here) I don’t think we ever see that the pistol that he, Rex, wolf, etc use can even I only remember that the dc-15s and the shorter rifles can when they fired at Ashoka when she was escaping.

and the war has begun and also fox did nothing wrong. what would you do if you were in foxes situation. Your aiming at a rouge trooper that attacked the chancellor( even though it was a set. But no body knew so he still kinda did) and took a general and a captain hostage. what are you gonna do. I'm gonna shoot him but oh no I need to stun him. just give me a second to put on my stun. DEAD. He was using self defense. another situation. a person takes your family hostage. And you have a pistol. what are you gonna do? stand there getting shot. I believe that cigarette smoke is a cause for the yellow in the clone figures. Also oils from your skin is also a cause. Not saying your a smoker but it would play a factor.

No one's smoked in my house for about a decade and I've had toys completely untouched in the package become yellow. It's the molecular structure of the plastic degrading both over time, and with exposure to sunlight.

Left them in for at LEAST a week for some lightly yellowed figures. I took them out a couple days after they had all whitened up.

Just curious, if they had painted the chin accurately for Fox, would he still be on your worst clone trooper figure list or not? Oh and in general, how would you like that figure out of all other clone figures if they had painted his chin white in the first place?

His lack of knees would certainly keep him pretty low on the totem pole, but I dunno if he'd be TOP worst. He'll never be a favorite due to his articulation, but the lack of chin paint killed it.

Ive only got 1 clone figure which is the clone jump trooper from the old bf2 battle pack which has yellowed and ive got so many clones, so at least my rarest ones like chopper, gus, slick, bly, cody, echo from s1 ep 5 and thire are fine :)

Dunno if stun would work on a fully-armored clone. Also, stuns (similar to tasers) aren't what's used against a hostile threatening use of a deadly weapon. Fives was warned, and even then there was absolutely no way Fives was going to be believed or saved after trying to kill Palpatine.

I think the top five worst clones are the 3.75 clone pilot,the attack of the clone clone trooper,cammader fox (2012),thorn,the biker clone that came out in 2002.

When I made my list, I considered "did they fulfull their purpose?" and "how did they compare to other figures at the time?" If I didn't the list would be nothing but unarticulated vehicle pack-ins and 5POA. The original 2002 Biker clone serves its purpose and has a unique armor-removal feature, and the very first clone released for AOTC is on-par with other Star Wars toys released in 2002.

Sorry if someone else mentioned this but not going through 298 comments, nice vid, yellowing: check out Toy Polloi and RetroBlasting channels they do alot of fixing and refurbishing of Star Wars toys and figures as well as other lines. From what I've gathered from watching their channels 6% or higher with alternative methods as well.
