Buy lots, cuts the cost per figure down and you can get some good stuff. If you're not afraid to sell yourself you can justify buying lots by reselling the figures you don't need. As for eBay search terms BE VAGUE. Try, "star wars trooper", "star wars soldier", or hell if you got time just took up "star wars lot". I've found many good deals this same way. Also check eBay categories, they often automatically narrow your search down and this can hurt you. You'll miss listings if they have the category automatically down to a super specific filter.

I used Mercari most. The prices there are way lower than ebay. A LAAT is about 60$ cheaper and figures tend to be 20 to 15 cheaper

You forgot to mention Thrift stores will occasionally have them. Never a guarantee ever... but I’ve actually found some cool Star Wars and Gi Joe figures some did need cleaning up yes,and they’re there in lots of 5-20 figures for for $10 or less some times.

I got the 501st Jetpack trooper that was exclusive to only Europe for $28 shipped from the UK loose. Came with nothing except the trooper itself which I only wanted. Was so glad I got him. All you gotta do is look and be patient. Was about to shell out $150 for a piece of plastic until I came across the one I bought lmao

I actually got some Clones last year from my brother for my birthday that he got from our local flea market, and my cousin had some he had in his collection but didn't have use for anymore and they were almost all clones from the Filoni series and I didn't have any clone bois from the show because I was kinda out of collecting star wars stuff at the time and money was an issue for our family and I wasn't into the Clone Wars at the time. It wasn't till it was on Netflix that I got into the show. So now I'm late to the party getting figs. But my bro and cuz helped me out. And now I'm wanting more. 😂 Got a phase 1 corascant guard, a 501st phase 1 trooper, a gray phase 1 trooper (idk if it's a Wolffe pack clone or a Kamino one), 2 gunners 1 with gray helmet and with gold, and the rest were ROTS phase 2 troopers. One was a Salocumi trooper and a clone with red striping and no helmet and a coruscant shock trooper.

There is a store in Monroeville mall PA that trade ins and unopened toys that some times has some rare figures for under $10, I found 1980s transformers and the original star wars figures from a new hope at times. I used to go to comic con but ebay amazon and other stuff I can find for cheaper

It's a custom figure. I'm not sure what body/armor they used, but they used the helmet from the Unleashed Stormtrooper figure.
