I never get tired of watching anything Dylan Elise does on the drums. He's so ridiculously talented. I admit however that I don't watch his "career" on a regular basis so I don't know how things are going for him in recent days, but I truly hope he's gained the success that he deserves. Anyone who has dedicated that much time and work into their craft deserves that success, if that is what they desire, at any rate.

New Zealand should be so proud to have a musician of this calibre in their midst. What a talent. I hope his career takes him to the world because he deserves it. To compare him with others is pointless. His skills are his own and his style will develop into a unique player. He is still quite young after all..... Pay no attention to the ever-present knockers. This guy has the goods and we should all be wishing him well. End of my rant....

Amazing. Even thought Steve Smith, Buddy Rich and Art Blakey all did these same tricks, as many of you have stated, it does not make this performance any less remarkable. All musicians are a product of their influences, as Frank Zappa once said, "The last guys to make truly original music wore wigs and stockings." This kid is TUFF!!!

The best and finest drummer I ever saw play drums with his band was without doubt the greatest drummer in the history of drumming,I am talking about the great American jazz drummer Mr Buddy Rich and his big band that used to tour the world.I first saw Buddy Rich in the 1970's nobody could compete with Buddy he was the best. This young man Mr Dylan Elise reminds me of Buddy Rich,I shall be watching Dylan work with great interest.

They paved the way but dylan elise is another level I'm proud to be an American but he is the best hands down nobody is quicker not Thomas lang, Chris Coleman both great but not on his level. Nobody can keep a beat and juggle sticks the way he does Steve smith, buddy rich, Thomas lang, Chris Coleman not quite.

Paul Colson Buddy could NEVER do a lot of stuff this man Dylan does, on the drums. This man is a phenom even beyond the AMAZING Buddy Rich. Watch some of his videos such as the 10 or more part video playlist of him playing 9 years ago on the drunk weekend streets of New Zealand with no shirt and passersby all around him and annoying as can be. He just keeps playing amid the chaos and I must say, surpasses Buddy Rich's abilities and SPEED. This guy is the only person I can say that about. No other drummer, matches or surpasses Buddy Rich......except, Dylan Elise.
