JD Tuning Daewoo Lanos project walkthrough

Aquí les presentamos uno de nuestros proyectos, consiste de un Daewoo Lanos 1998 1.6 DOHC. Con un sistema turbo “custom”. Nota- throttle es 52mm en el video dije 58.
Here we are going to show you guys one of ours projects ars. It is a 1998 Daewoo Lanos 1.6 DOHC. Using a custom turbo kit. Note- the throttle body size is 52mm not 58mm.

Tuve una en Blanca motor 1.6 twin lo que hice fue que cambie todo el sistema de radiador y elimine el candungo de agua de fabrica de ella(se rompia a cada rato) dure 8 años con ella.

How did you convert to from 4 to 5 bolt wheels. Is that the stock bumper ? mine looks different i want to change it to that one ... is just bolt it ? or do i need to drill new holes? What do you think of boosting the 1.3 Sohc ? Can i make 150wHP reliably?

Tech VEVO still using 4 bolts, the bumper is the one from the Lanos Sport, some mods were made to make it fit. Haven’t worked on the 1.3 because it didn’t came to our market.

Hola me gusto mucho el proyecto!! Los felicito, solo tengo una duda, considerando q la potencia stock del 1.6 se estaría triplicando con el turbo kit, podrían hacer de repente otro video explicando que tipo de cambios se tuvieron que hacer al clutch, volante y/o ejes para que puedan trabajar con esta nueva potencia. Saludos Alejandro, ya pronto estaremos haciendo mas videos ya que estamos haciendo varios upgrades al auto. Pero te comento el clutch es un clutch en bronze marca Inmotion Clutch, volante de factoría y ejes son los de factoría y como nota curiosa son de 1.5 no de 1.6.

Buenas. De verdad no acabo de creer que un 1.6T tenga 350cv. Felicidades por el tremendo proyecto. Tengo uno igual, atmosférico, y me cuesta mucho encontrar piezas para este coche (arboles de levas, colectores, inyectores etc) ¿alguna recomendación para empezar a sacarle provecho?. ¿La barra de torretas de qué coche es?

¿Que opinión tienen ustedes de pasar un Daewoo Lanos 98 motor 1500 de full injetcion a carburador? La computadora presenta daños. Agradezco de antemano sus comentarios

Saludos, de usted tener todo lo necesario a la mano pues entiendo que seria una manera económica de arreglar el auto. Pero de igual manera reemplazar la computadora seria hasta más fácil conservando su buen encendido a cualquier temperatura.

I think you could use stronger engine mounts as I feel the engine is moving a bit too much

Saludos Jhon, esos datos no los tenemos aún debido a que aún estamos trabajando en el carro. Actualmente debido a que aún tiene diferencial abierto no logra agarrar bien y patina mucha goma en los primeros 3 cambios. El carro se encuentra en Puerto Rico. Saludos! Gracias!

Ya le conteste al correo electrónico que que me enviaste Ignacio. Pero de todos modos en el video menciono todas las piezas que tiene instaladas tanto en español como en ingles en los subtitulos. Alguna otra pieza que tengan duda y que no mencione en el video?

Saludos GazharD, seguimos activos en el canal y con el proyecto, recientemente le hicimos cambio de computadora, ahora quitamos la Megasquirt y instalamos una Fueltech. La razón por el momento de no subir mas videos al canal es por una situación que existe con el gobierno y las regulaciones que están implementando en Estados Unidos. Pronto espero poder subir mas videos.

Thanks so much should make my aveo5 build alittle more robust have alot of questions about this though love the idea of making 240+ at the wheels reliable but I purchased a brand new 1.6 that I want to build in every conceivable way. thoughts?

Good tune, try to get some decent fuel injectors to make it easier, safer and more reliable in this one we are using ID Injectors with AEM fuel pump. Make sure to use new head studs or find some ARP ones. But tune is the key, this engines holds good power no problem.

Debajo del intake manifold (araña, multiple de admision) encontrarás el coolant sensor y al lado esta ese, es de un solo cable
