First, I am a childless dog lady. Let me tell you she is a expensive girl too. She lives to play a game called "how can i make sure my mom spend some money this week?" And then during rehab I had to nurse my little guy back to health. Also took care of my mom for about 4 months when she was dying but before she went into hospice care. I don’t have children, but I still think I know a thing or two about putting someone else’s needs before my own. I have physical scars on my left leg from being whipped with a thorny rose vine switch, but more scars in my head. So no kids. I have loads of other whipping stories from not eating fast enough to not waking up at 5:30am, etc. Try being beaten by a drunk man in a rage. Lets hear your story, Vance. I’d love to have kids one day but the biggest reason why I’m choosing not to for is finances. I earn a pretty decent salary and live comfortably but I know raising a child is costly, not just in terms in money but also of time. I would have to make sacrifices like not being able to have as much freedom or enjoy the hobbies that I do. I would want to be present in my child’s life as much as possible and it would be difficult with having to maintain a balance between working and parenting. I’d also want to have the right partner who also wants children as there’s no way I could be a single parent in my current situation. I know my story isn’t the only one and others will agree with me.
