Something that isnt clarified in the anime is that the hunter association gives very good medical insurance to its employees which Sung uses to pay for his mother medicall bills. Thats something that he cant achieve by doing a different job

As watch recommendation if you didn't get one. Don't tandem episodes. Watch them single to have the cliffhangers affect you as intended. At the ending of each episode is the title card for the next, so if you want to speculate you can take a look. You are lucky that you will not experience the 7.5 recap filler episode that doesn't need to be watched and did interrupt the flow of the show due to production issue. The last episode has a bit more after the ED to watch. While SL is most known for the manhuwa it was a light novel first that got made into the manhuwa. The show orients itself more to the light novel with taking the visuals up from the manhuwa.
