I like to imagine that the Oden we were seeing while Kinemon was talking about him, the smaller more respectable man, was a visual representation of what the Straw Hats thought he would look like based off description from Kin. But in reality the dude is built like Semi, and is a complete wild card.

@@aqsw57 yup that's the actual reason ofc but if we want to fit into the narrative, like storytelling, we can say that we see what the strawhats are seeing of how they see or imagine things. And then in actual flashback we get to see the true them.

The explanation for how Orochi knows so many things he shouldn't know was one of the last episodes before I was caught up in the anime. The predictions about how the info leaked out was discussed by people online over a period of time but when I started watching that sort of content it was already old news. I'm sure there were interesting ideas about how it happened. You really have to hand it to Orochi's voice actor. I don't know how anyone could make those sounds on purpose but it suits his villainous character.

When they reached the part when it came to introducing the animals of the Red Scabbards, they never really officialize it in the anime or manga, but to clarify one thing would be Kawamatsu (the Kappa) is a Japanese Puffer Fish-Man; essentially clarifying that all those poisonous fish they kept feeding Kawamatsu while he was imprisoned wouldn't hardly done any real life-threatening harm to him. AND it's crazy to see that in the past Kin'emon was a blonde "delinquent!!!!!!!!"
